I popped in to Kimberton Nails on my way home for the first time. The owner fit me in to her busy schedule to get a refill and eyebrows waxed. The place is very clean, the people are nice and inviting, I loved that the owner remembers her customers names. It felt like more than a place business, the one lady even used venmo to pay and tip. I appreciate them so much at Kimberton Nails.

As I’m sitting here after getting my mani and pedi I want to cry. My nails were so bad it looked like a toddler did them. The polish was not neatly applied and there were smudges all around my cuticles. When I spoke to the owner about whether my nails would be cleaned, she took a small sheet of paper towel, doused it in nail polish remover and set out “cleaning” my cuticles. Needless to say she did not make anything better and then had the audacity to ask me if it was ok!! Of course it wasn’t ok, my nails should have been redone. She didn’t offer to do it and I just said “fine” and left. I’m telling you guys, this is the worse mani I’ve ever gotten in my life. The lady who did them rushed to take the new customers and the owner didn’t even have the courtesy to say, can I redo your nails for you. I will never go back to that place, I can sit home and paint my nails with my feet and they’ll come out better.

A great experience and beautiful salon. Almost two weeks after, my nails look great still! Only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is my fingernails are see though. I wish they did another coat of polish to help eliminate that.

They had a special fall pumpkin spa pedicure which I LOVED and will be returning for more spa pedicures. The tech that did my pedi was incredible and the massage was worth every penny. The new owner was great and made sure she checked often with me regarding nail shape, color, water temperature, etc. I’ve never had that thorough of a gel mani and spa pedi in the area anywhere. They had a special fall pumpkin spa pedicure which I LOVED and will be returning for more spa pedicures. The tech that did my pedi was incredible and the massage was worth every penny. The staff is very very friendly but I was disappointed with my full set I got as he was putting nails on which I don’t think was the best size for my nail because they kept popping off as he was gluing them on and sad that two nails popped off the next day. Would of also loved to be able to get a design he was unable to try to do a cheetah print design for me. My mom got a pedicure tho and the lady did an amazing job at that ! Nice people but if you are looking for a place that can do designs and has a bigger selection of gel polish go somewhere else
