Critical: ProfessionalismVery upset with the customer service. I started my locs here in 2019. The service wasn’t the best but what I could find in Killeen at the time. I was stood up before but someone came within 10 mins to do my hair. I always make an appointment that’s just how I am and I don’t like to wait. Well it’s been a while since I got my hair done and I called the only place I knew which is this place. I called and schedule an appointment 3 days in advance just be told the day of my appointment they forgot I had an appointment and the stylist was cooking dinner and if I could wait 30 mins to an hour. This was very unprofessional because I asked was she sure if I could come at 530pm because she said yes very fast. Luckily I was able to find Neko on Elms and she did my hair the next day at 5am before I left for my trip. Thanks for messing up this appointment gave me the opportunity to find a true Loctician in Killeen which been very hard for me..Very upset with the customer service. I started my locs here in 2019. Provides hair, and great service but sometimes doesn’t communicate well. My last experience, we went up there for an appt and the owner didn’t share with them that we were coming and they were full.

Went here to get my 2 yr old daughters hair braided. Her hair came out nice but the experience wasn’t to good. Everyone knows with a 2 yr old your gonna have to have a little patience…the lady just seemed to be very irritated everytime my daughter would move..mind you it was her first time. I kept her calm and tipped as I always do but I just cant give this 5 stars.

They seemed to be extremely confused about what kind of braids I wanted, regardless of the fact that I showed them three pictures and explained IN DETAIL what I wanted. Then after about 20 mins of them arguing in a different language about it they started my hair, and hey did it so wrong and I didn’t like it. Since two different women braided my hair the braids in the front were way bigger than the ones in the back and when I asked her to fix it SHE GOT AN ATTITUDE AND ARGUED WITH ME! I paid $200 for this mess and I will never go back and I don’t recommend them to anyone. It’s too expensive and the braids are less than satisfactory.

Nice young lady, accommodating and on time. I love my hair but probably won’t go again due to change of price after services given the price was decided the day prior. Money should always be discussed upfront. Also, it’s encouraged to use the ATM which charges 3.50 per transaction. If major CC isn’t the preferred method of payment, please do not advertise. I’m sure I know why that is the case. So, that was an additional charge on top of my hair. Again, love my hair but probably won’t go back.

I’m giving two stars for quality braiding and kindness. I asked for cornrows straight back. Nothing fancy. The parts are crooked. The braids angle to the right. Not what I asked for. I give up on African hair braiding in Killeen. This is the 2nd braiding shop I’ve tried. Never again. I’m really not sure how she did this. I showed her a photo and explained in detail. I called her and asked her how these braids where not straight back. She agreed to fix it. But I don’t have time for this. If one of the braiders at this shop is reading this review… your services are not cheap. You get paid when services are complete. Your clients deserve perfection just like you deserve payment. As your client, my time is very valuable. How do you think I get the money to pay you all for unsatisfactory service? You have lost a customer. If you value mediocrity, go here. If you seek perfection, save your time and money…
