Critical: Professionalism, PunctualityMy girls have been getting serviced at this salon for years. Made an appointment for my daughter to get braids for her graduation and thought everything would go smoothly as usual, Boy was I WRONG! Arrived at the salon at 8am (Scheduled and confirmed appointment time) and no one was at the shop. I waited for about 15min then called and was told that the person that I made the appointment with was out of town and I would not be able to get my daughter’s hair done! I was obviously upset and expressed that this was unacceptable and unprofessional. I was the told that someone would be at the shop at 9am and I could wait or come back and when I asked if I would be compensated for my time, I was told that I was being hostile and she no longer wanted my business! My girls have been getting serviced at this salon for years. Made an appointment for my daughter to get braids for her graduation and thought everything would go smoothly as usual, Boy was I WRONG! Arrived at the salon at 8am (Scheduled and confirmed appointment time) and no one was at the shop. I waited for about 15min then called and was told that the person that I made the appointment with was out of town and I would not be able to get my daughter’s hair done! She asked me with whom did I send a text . I advised her a book with someone on the phone the morning before my appointment. She tell me she not there and asked what number did I call. Okay I’m getting annoyed but I looked in my call log and gave her the number. She them tells me that that’s the right number and she not there that she travels. Okay so I asked well can you call her?? She ignored my question and continued to watch something on her phone while braiding someone else hair. I asked again and no response. She then tells me well you can wait for me to finish but it will be about a hour. No apology or anything for my inconvenience just very nonchalant. I asked her what’s her name and she tells me I’m not telling you my name. Needless to say I did not get my hair done. I will not be returning and I don’t recommend them to anyone! I had an appointment for 3:00, the only time they said was available. I walked in told the lady I was there for my appointment. She asked me with whom did I send a text . I advised her a book with someone on the phone the morning before my appointment. She tell me she not there and asked what number did I call.
