Recently moved to the area and was in need of a stylist for my natural hair. It was desperately in need of a cut and style. I’ve had terrible breakage resulting from a bad stress habit of pulling my hair out. I found Kiki! I am extremely pleased with the services. She has gotten her hair cut three times professionally, all by “curl specialists.” I have always been disappointed. In comes Kiki. She claims that she is not a curl specialist. But I say she is!!! She was so patient and kind. She actively listened to what we wanted, and she performed. My daughter loves her hair cut!!!! She feels confident in her curls as she walks the middle school hallways. My daughter has very thick, very curly hair. She has gotten her hair cut three times professionally, all by “curl specialists.” I have always been disappointed. In comes Kiki. She claims that she is not a curl specialist. But I say she is!!! She was so patient and kind. She actively listened to what we wanted, and she performed. My daughter loves her hair cut!!!! I love the fact that she has a private studio, especially during these times. She is 100% concerned about the HEALTH of my hair and not just giving me the latest in “trendy” short hair styles. Since the COVID shutdown was lifted she has nursed my hair back into excellent condition and she is truly a master stylist! KiKi is the ultimate professional and such a joy to be around. I love the fact that she has a private studio, especially during these times. She is 100% concerned about the HEALTH of my hair and not just giving me the latest in “trendy” short hair styles. I met Kiki when I was 6 months pregnant with my daughter. My daughter is now almost 14 and we both go to Kiki. Over 14 years of, what I would call now, a friendship, Kiki has been patient, understanding and creative with my crazy, thick, coarse Hispanic hair (and me). Kiki is professional, yet we can yuck it up, too! I admire her for always putting educating herself as a top priority. She does amazing color treatments and more!
