I am not sure about others, but my experience as a first timer was a bummer. First things first- Sima (owner ? ) was 10 min late to my appointment as she left the place anticipating no one. ♀️ Next, rough handling throughout right from washing my hair to blow drying. I asked her for soft layers which she somewhat managed to give after reducing my hair volume which I repeatedly told her not to do. I am very disappointed with the attitude and handling of my hair. The layers are not soft.

I have been a customer of this establishment for a while now so know that this review is not out of spite. I have been using their service mainly because it is local for me and it was one of my preferences not because they have great service. I had times when I wasn’t very happy with the service, but I took it easy and didn’t mention it and simply with a polite “thank you” I left their store. I noticed it was my fault that I gave them the false idea of doing a good job. Anyways I have learned my lesson. Last week was different, I went to Sima and received the worst haircut she has given me. It was WAY too short with uneven layers on the left and right sides. At first, I let it go but during the week I received too many negative comments about my hair and I felt insecure so I went back to her to get my money back and I was faced with the most unprofessional customer service EVER. Sima was upset about my complaint and said that it was my fault for not being patient enough and that I should have waited three months so my hair would grow back. To her, it seems fine and normal to get a poor haircut that doesn’t look good on you just be patient.

Went to this place because the reviews were decent and I always like to support local family businesses. My experience was interesting. Lady that cut my hair did an ok job and it was probably the fastest haircut I have ever had…not sure if it was worth $60 even though their website says a haircut is $50…still not sure the cut I got was worth that much. When I say my experience was interesting, it’s emphasizing on the customer service part. When I arrived the place was a ghost town and an older lady came from the back and greeted me but didn’t tell me her name. Wasn’t a big deal for me, I’m not much of a talker anyway. Everything was fine up until it was time for the haircut….lady never spoke a word, the only time she spoke was to talk on the phone. She was cutting my hair as if she was in a hurry yet there was no one there…and she would poke my head hard if she wanted me to move my head a certain way. I was caught off guard, never been knocked around like that by a “hair stylist”. Then when it came to blowdry my hair, it was super hot and she had burnt my scalp a few times. I really hate to say it but I will probably not go back and can understand why this place isn’t busy.

Horrible horrible place. My daughter asked for a few inches off and they cut her hair in a bob (chin length!) when it was low back length. Told her she couldn’t complain and that it looked better this way on her face bc she looked more Asian. She’s Hispanic. My daughter wants to cry when I called they hung up on me and told me it’s what she wanted. I will post pics of what she wanted. I can’t believe they did this to her. Ridiculous. Edit: I left a negative review on yelp and they messaged me privately to call me a liar. If they have an issue with what I said they had the chance to talk to me when I called and asked questions but instead yelled at me through the phone and hung up on me. Don’t go here ever.

Oh my God don’t go here if you have curly hair. Please tell me why she straightened it to cut it. It looks horrible, it’s way too short, it’s choppy, and a completely different style than what I asked for. I cried all the way home I’m absolutely humiliated with this look. The lady was absolutely lovely, but she was so incredibly rough, stabbing me with her nails and holding the hairdryer over my face, burning my skin. I’m sure she does a great job with straight hair but PLEASE don’t go here if you have curly hair.

Critical: Quality, ValueWorst hair cut I have received. It looks like a 2 year old cut my hair. I told her I wanted a straight cut and she decided to “fix” my layers and cut them at an angle. Everywhere was uneven. I also asked to not have my hair washed and she said she would do a quick wash and she was rough with my hair and it was not pleasant. I went directly to another salon to get it fixed because I was appalled about how bad it was. She also seemed rushed and wanted to get me out of there and did not care whatsoever what my hair looked like. dont go if you have curly or wavy hair. she cut 3/4 of my hair after straingtening and blow dry all before cutting. disappointed with the haircut as i had specifically told her not to trim the length. she further thineed out my hair so not it is barely anything
