I took my son here this morning for his first haircut ever. He just turned 3 and he has autism, so I was very nervous how he would do. As soon as we walked in, my son thought it was an interesting and welcoming place to be. He loved seeing the doggies and kitties around the salon. Even though he liked the atmosphere, he was afraid of getting in a chair, so he sat in my lap and Jennifer was able to cut his hair that way. He liked facing the mirrors and being able he to see what she was doing. She was super speedy and made it a completely painless and positive experience. Right now my son is feeling so proud of his hair and he looks so handsome! I would definitely recommend and would definitely come back.

Avoid this place. After reading some pretty terrible reviews, we decided to cancel my son’s hair appointment. The scheduling process alone gave me a bad gut feeling but the way we were treated for canceling really confirms that I made the right choice not taking my son there. The guy that answered the phone both times was extremely unprofessional and rude. Make sure you read the reviews before scheduling!

I love taking my daughter to this Solan, her hair dresser is always so kind & makes it fun. She also works very quickly, which is important when trimming up a 2 year olds hair. Lol, conversation is always great & my daughter loves the cars she can sit in & ‘drive’ while she’s getting her trim. My little girl also loves the dogs & kitties she gets to play with while we wait.

My daughter LOVES getting her hair cut by Jennifer! We have been taking her to Kidz Biz for the past 3-4 years. Jennifer is not only great with my daughter but she has been cutting my brother’s hair as well. He is 22 and has severe non verbal autism. My mom and I had taken him to multiple different salons and barber shops around the Tri Cities over the years but all of the stylists were visibly uncomfortable which would create anxiety during the appointments causing my brother to become overstimulated and have outbursts.

We have brought our kids to Kidz Biz since a friend referred us at age 3. Kids are now 8 and we still love the staff, the atmosphere, and how they give back with food drives at the holidays. Highly recommend, such a great small business to support!

Our hairdresser was so incredibly patient, friendly and absolutely sweet with my kids! It’s so important for me to see my kids happy and excited… they were over the moon!!!! Only place I have ever taken my daughter for haircuts. The owners are sweethearts and so great with kids. The environment is so relaxing for kids (big plus if they are nervous if getting their first cut) and super clean. You guys rock!

This is the only place I will take my sons to get their hair cut! My boys have very difficult cowlicks and I’m picky about their hair. She is the only one who can cut it so their hair stays down. She’s also great with the kids. They love coming here! Haircut
