Brought son in for first haircut. Staff was amazing and did a great job. Each station has a small TV to keep the kids distracted and they let us be with him during his haircut. Would definitely recommend!

Andrea S. is fantastic at working with my 10y.o autistic son. She’s patient, and always tells my son exactly what she is going to do before she does it. It’s also really nice that she asks my opinion on length and will go back over areas to ensure everything is just perfect. Definitely recommend Chanhassen Kids Hair.

Critical: ProfessionalismWe showed up at 5:49 To our 5:40 appointment for our sons first haircut. We were excited and happy that this was gonna be his first time. They turned us away and said we had to reschedule because we were late and they only have 15 minute time slots. Meanwhile the salon was a ghost town and they were two people at the counter telling us this. They were doing absolutely nothing. First of all if there is a strict policy about this we need to be informed while scheduling the appointment that we must be prompt about time. Anybody who has kids knows that things come up and it is very difficult to get to places on time. I don’t know why a kids hair salon doesn’t factor in a little cushion for people to be a little late due to the unpredictable nature of children. Especially babies. My opinion this is a horrible business model for a kids hair salon. Not to mention our excitement was immediately extinguished and what was supposed to be a fun and happy moment turned out to be a complete disaster. Needless to say they have lost our future business and we will not recommend anyone to this establishment.One more thing. To further explain their lack of customer service, don’t you think it would be nice to get a phone call after five minutes asking us where we are and asking us to reschedule instead of having us drive all the way there so they could tell us in person.
