Amazing experience today with Ms. Shawna! As you know toddlers can be squirmy and difficult with haircuts sometimes so I was feeling anxious about how my son would do. She cut my toddler son’s hair so perfectly and she was extremely patient with him. She made us feel at ease and overall it was a great experience, will be definitely booking again with her! TRAUMATIZING. I feel so horrible bringing my 1 year old son, on his birthday to this place. When we went my son just had his first dentist appointment where they all called him an “angel” for being so still and patient. Not trying to say he’s like that all the time, but I’m saying he had a great morning prior to this.

Traumatic experience for my son. Shawna was very aggressive and used a comb to hold his head jabbing the teeth of the comb into his forehead. She made it seem like it was my sons fault for not staying still. We did not finish his haircut because he started crying. My son is 6 and has many haircuts before and has never cried. We will not be going back here.

Booked appt for haircut and braid for our son at 1:15 pm on a Tuesday. Arrived 10 mins early, with 3 people in the salon ahead of us, we waited 30 mins after our original appt time, only to be told she was behind in her appts and it would be better if I rescheduled. We were the only ones left in the salon, and she was just cleaning up. My son was pretty upset that everyone else was able to have their hair done, and he was not. He kept asking why she did everyone’s else’s hair but not mine
