Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, ValueI personally love coming here. The staff actually remembers your name unlike other giant corporations when you’re just a number. It feels more comfortable, and even the beds are higher power than say Palm Beach Tan. Key west tan level one bed is the same as Palm beaches level two. And for a low affordable price, easy wait times, and no dumb restrictions, it definitely is a hidden gem of Mechanicsville. I didn’t even want to write this review because I love how it’s never busy. I personally love coming here. The staff actually remembers your name unlike other giant corporations when you’re just a number. It feels more comfortable, and even the beds are higher power than say Palm Beach Tan. Key west tan level one bed is the same as Palm beaches level two. This place is great! The staff goes over any questions I have about their beds and lotions and their prices are pretty decent for Richmond. I enjoy my experience every time. It’s really nicely painted inside with great designs for the rooms.

I’ve been tanning at Key West for five years, now, and I wouldn’t want to tan elsewhere. Their prices are reasonable, their staff are friendly and it’s just around the corner (very convenient). Though they are usually busy, I never have to wait for a tanning bed. Also, their facility is always clean and looks great. When it’s hot outside, they use their A/C, and when it’s cold outside, they use their heat to add to their comfortable and pleasant environment. I usually like to use an extra few of their small towels to cover areas I don’t wish to tan, too, so they are very accommodating and do not see this as a bother. Oh, yes, and one more thing — the tanning beds I use come with a radio/CD player, so when I’m in the mood for music while tanning, I’ll bring in a CD or listen to the radio. It’s all of these details that make Key West the best place to tan for me. Thank you, Key West, for I appreciate all that you do. 🙂

The lady at the desk was extremely nice and had great customer service But the Spray tan I got today for $45 dollars definitely wasn’t worth my money. I waited 3 1/2 hours to shower and there is no color difference . I’m not from Virginia but back home in Florida, we pay $30 for the same type of spray tan and I’m 3 shades darker than my original color .

Jessica was so helpful in me gaining an understanding of the pricing. She didn’t oversell or pressure in any way. There may not be the bells and whistles of Palm Beach Tan, but MUCH more affordable. Plus, you get to support small business! Let the tanning begin.
