My grandson has autism so getting a haircut was never easy for him. One day he saw the spinning Barber light and said he wanted to go in and get his first “Barber haircut”. He could not have had a better experience. And now whenever we drive past Kent Island we have to stop so he can get a haircut whether he needs one or not. Too bad they weren’t an hour and a half away from us or I know he would be a regular customer getting a cut every 6 weeks!

Really great service from the gentleman who cut my sons hair. My son is really shy around new people (he’s only three and this wasn’t the shop he’s used to going to) and whined quite a bit as a stranger cut his hair, but the gentleman continued to show patience and did a very good job at trimming his hair. He continued to talk to my son to try to keep him calm, was gentle, and overall just was very pleasant to be around.

Been coming here for years, usually on Sundays because of my work schedule. Overall they do a good job, however, they need to open the shop on time. They’re supposed to be open at 9am on sundays, usually they show up closer to 9:30, on this day, they didn’t show up to open until 9:50am. My rating would have been closer to 5 stars if wasn’t for them consistently opening later then advertised.

Walked in because there was an empty seat and I was in a hurry . After sitting down in the barber chair and explaining I only wanted a shape up . The barber tells me to get up and wait for the other barber because the guy walking in had an appointment . So much for my quick shape up.

I ask for a specific cut to include a zero fade and the rear scissor cut. A while back my hair was BUTCHERED by the older guy that worked there who used to work in the far right chair. Never went back to him. The younger guy that used to work right next to him nailed my cut every time. Was happy to go there again. I’ve been there three times now and the younger dude was nowhere to be found and today after waiting I wouldn’t wait any more. I broke down and let the older guy cut my hair again. Unbelievable how badly he chopped my hair up. He was so lazy in cutting it with clippers he cut right into the scissor cut part and 4” of hair fell in my lap. I was pissed, and he knew he messed up. He kept doctoring it the rest of the cut and only made it worse.

Don’t know how she does it but the mature lady on the left (3rd chair in) always gets my husband’s hair perfect, even though he visits her in emergency situations only (maybe 3 times a year.) It’s cute how he has to slide down a little do she can reach the top of his head. The straight razor she used at the end irritated his neck a little but worth a little irritation for the haircut.

I get it… We all have long days where we are tired and want to go home, but we still have to do our job. With that being written, I walked into this establishment 10 minutes before 6:00 pm. As soon as I opened the door a man said “We’re closed.” The sign on the window all lit up clearly stated “Open”. I walked out of the building never to return again. Show some integrity, if you do not close till 6, and you have a sign that displays “Open”, then do your job.
