Ken is a great barber, takes his time, has a steady hand, and pays attention to detail. Only place in the north shore to get a nice haircut, and he still uses a straight razor for finishing touches. Unlike billys… nothing against Billy but I’ve been there more than 2 times and…. well, Save your time and money, don’t go to Billy’s across the street. His hands are Shakey and his clips haven’t been oiled up properly in who knows how long. Ken’s is the place to go.

Ken really is the best barber. After 6 months of no haircuts due to the pandemic, he did an amazing job of making me look human again. He keeps his little shop clean. My 4 year old son also won’t go to anyone else for a haircut. He loves Ken’s easy going attitude, and feels safe in his chair. Ken even makes him laugh during what would be a stressful situation anywhere else. Ken also gives a modern cut and takes his time with each customer.

I was visiting Hawaii and had to attend a wedding the next day and I did some searching around and found Ken’s Hair Studio highly recommended. This is a one man shop and I came here early on a Saturday (9am ish to be exact) and I already had one person in front of me on line. Short wait but parking I needed to wait for a spot, no biggie. In any case highly recommend Ken. He gave a great cut and super friendly and easy to talk to, if you can spare the time and wait for him I highly recommend you come here for a cut.
