Positive: Communication, Professionalism, QualityKelly’s Healing Massage was a perfect way to treat myself midweek! I booked an appointment online with them. Given it was a 9:00 PM appointment, I called to ensure that it was ok. The gentleman on the phone answered promptly and politely confirmed the appointment. During my massage, my masseuse asked me if there are any areas I’d like him to focus on. I informed him that I would like a focus on my back and neck. He had done a wonderful job loosening up tight areas without leaving me feeling sore and bruised like other places. The facility was simply decorated, clean, and had a relaxing environment. Kelly’s Healing Massage was a perfect way to treat myself midweek! I booked an appointment online with them. Given it was a 9:00 PM appointment, I called to ensure that it was ok. The gentleman on the phone answered promptly and politely confirmed the appointment. During my massage, my masseuse asked me if there are any areas I’d like him to focus on. Critical: ProfessionalismPoor customer care and Intense!I’m a very active person and have gotten many massages before. I came in earlier than my appointment expecting some paperwork, but I was quite put off that they did not have an intake form or ask any questions about my health. Instead they just led me directly to the room. Anna was my therapist and all she asked me was if I wanted medium or deep. Generally I need deep having a lot of tension from exercise. But this was much more intense than i’ve ever experienced! I tried to tell her to put less pressure on the bones but it didn’t feel any less. It was hard to tell if she even knew what she was doing and was difficult to communicate with her. Not just soreness, but still in pain the next day. Critical: ProfessionalismFirstly, my appointment location changed from MountainView to Sunnyvale after booking. I waited. The elderly man at the reception seemed a bit rude and unwelcoming. I chose the 60 mins, Deep Tissue massage option, and the masseuse (an elderly lady who breathed heavily but has good skills) spent most of the time on my backside, requiring me to extend the massage to 90 mins in order to get an equal massage on both sides. Firstly, my appointment location changed from MountainView to Sunnyvale after booking. I waited. The elderly man at the reception seemed a bit rude and unwelcoming. I chose the 60 mins, Deep Tissue massage option, and the masseuse (an elderly lady who breathed heavily but has good skills) spent most of the time on my backside, requiring me to extend the massage to 90 mins in order to get an equal massage on both sides.
