I started going to them about 2 months ago and everything started off great but after a while I started to feel their services and professionalism going downhill. I love their sense of humor, but I don’t need the insults that comes with it. You don’t know what type of things people are dealing with and to make them feel even more insecure about their condition is not okay. Definitely love them but I’m going to have to take a break from KD for a while especially after today. My last couple of services have been a bit ehhh… Definitely not how it started. I’m tired of being insulted or told what can’t be done or having someone trying to tell me what they think looks better on me than me. I’ll come back in a couple months and see if things change and if not I guess I will have to take my services elsewhere. I also don’t like the fact I was told I’m too picky for wanting things done a certain way, so that’s why the husband doesn’t want to do my nails all of a sudden but when we’ve had previous conversations he would always say he just had too many clients, or people who were ahead of me.. Now today it’s “I’m too picky” or them initiating that I was taking up too much of their time for asking Lynn, his wife, to just correct certain things. I don’t want to walk out of any shop with one hand looking different than the other or one foot looking different than the other, although I know things will not be perfect I would like them close to similar as possible. What I asked for VS what was given. I’m upset not only because I was insulted, but because she said I “wanted model nails” and that the design and color I wanted didn’t look good on my skin color. I just wanted Almond cut nails with a blue tip. I showed pictures for reference plenty of times. By the end I didn’t even bother to care how they looked because what’s the point. She did “try” to paint the tips but the lines weren’t curved and were chunky and uneven at that point I just said; Never-mind paint them all.

Picked out a gel polish and literally 2 days later it started peeling. I went back and asked to get a different color in case it was just bad. They absolutely refused !! Said they could only reapply or get charged for new color !!! Outrageous !!

I have never had to wait longer than 2 to 5 minutes for the polish to dry on my dipped nails. I don’t know what type of Polish this establishment uses but it is very poor quality and cheap. My nails were dipped 4 times but you cant tell by looking at these dull lackluster results. Iwill never cheat myself again by coming to this or any other establishment like it to save $20. Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Quality, ValueThe owner of the establishment and his wife were the most courteous and attentive towards myself and my sister. He didn’t rush us to pick what we wanted and he didn’t rush while working on my nails. They are from my hometown and knew EXACTLY how I wanted my nails to look. Great atmosphere, clean establishment, reasonable prices, and friendly service. I went for a pedicure and got a feet wash. I can wash my own feet. You get what you pay for. They don’t offer hot wax, hot towels, hot stones, scrubs. Very disappointed with service and quality of work.
