The hairdresser and the owner are outstanding with providing service. My hair turned out great. Paid for a hair color and trim along with a gel manicure for a great deal. Don’t underestimate this salon they use great products and for such a reasonable price. Check them out ladies and ladies!

I have visited most of the nail salons in Alameda and JoAnne’s is the BEST by far..beyond their expertise in manicure/pedicure tech, the leg, neck and shoulders massages are to die for . I’ve been going to them for years and can’t recommend them highly enough.

This is the worst nail shop Iv’e ever been too. I went in to get a Mani and Pedicure and asked one of the workers if she knew a place where they do “eyelash extensions” and the worker said that they do them there. It’s my fault for believing them of course. Anyways, long story short I went early morning at 8am to get eyelash extensions and when I got there, they put me in a room with a girl that barely knew any English. The girl did one of my eyes that took her about an hour and 45 minutes to finish then I heard “STATE” come in through the front door. The girl doing my lashes ran like a cheetah out of the building and left me in the room without an explanation. five minutes later my nail lady comes in and tells me to wait 5 minutes which ended up being 45 minutes wait. I’m in the room with one eye done and the nail lady comes in and tells me if “state” asks who is doing my lashes to say it’s her. …… The nail lady ended up finishing my other eye because the girl who spoke no English was nowhere to be found. I thought I was in a Horror Movie!!!!!! When my eyes were done, I had stains of black glue on my eyelashes and It did not look natural @ ALL!!!!! I was LIVID!!!!!!!!! NEVER WILL I GO BACK AGAIN, THEY LOST A REALLY GOOD CUSTOMER FOR LYING AND TRYING TO DO ANYTHING FOR MONEY! If you don’t know or have experience in something don’t say you do! end of story…. I got my lashes done in 4 hours…. this is unheard of and feel real stupid for believing them…….

Nice atmosphere.Good pedicure lasted long time.I am going to get my hair cut here also.I recommend it after trying many places in Alameda.I got my haircut and the man did a fine job.My toes look great too.
