Kayla did a GREAT job with my haircut today. Last week, after months of no haircuts, I frantically chopped away and gave myself a ‘Covid cut’, cutting off more than five inches. Today, Kayla turned that around and I walked out knowing that she gave me the best haircut that I’ve had since moving to Chino Valley. She is personable, professional, and talented. We just moved here and I struggled to find a great hair dresser. Dana’s was my 3rd attempt and we hit a home run! All the girls are awesome and the salon is clean and professional. I have gone to Amber twice and she did a great job. I had a perm and a cut and it is so cute! The perm is perfect!

I am writing this review as a former employee of Dana’s. In regards to the review below mine, written by “Anna”, I would like to admit that I was the one who gave her the service at the salon. She was so nice and friendly, we had great conversation, i felt comfortable and at ease, and I did not have any vibes that she felt uncomfortable or nervous with me as her stylist. I did, however, make a bad judgement and I did not consider that she wasn’t being completely honest with me, after I discussed with her during the consultation, about her hair having been previously lightened underneath her box hair color that she had, and I took her word that she indeed, had no bleach or highlights in the past, instead of following my gut instinct, even though her hair did feel, to me, like it might have had some bleach/lightener/highlights and I went ahead with the service without having her sign a waiver stating I would not be liable if anything were to happen due to her not telling me what was truly underneath her hair color. This was absolutely my mistake and I take full blame for it. Her hair ended up becoming OVER processed, not UNDER processed. And it did not take to the perm. She left, and yes she paid, but there were no complaints before payment was made. A few days go by, she comes back in, so Dana and I looked at it, and it was, in fact, not what she invisioned, and not what I intended the final outcome to be.

Went in recently to get a body wave perm. It fishtailed my hair and my hair is fried. It was under-processed. I was charged!!!! Unreal! I will never go there again! It’s going to cost me a lot of money, patience and time to have it either grow out with tons of conditioning treatments, I can’t cutt it off or I would look like a man. 🙁 I wanted a body wave to do a wash and go and now I have to spend at least two hours and tons of products to look terrible anyways
