Critical: ProfessionalismI have been to this salon 4-5 times. First off let me say that the girls are the bomb at doing nails. I went to three different nail techs there (just for ease of getting an appointment) and the care and quality was the same. Extreme attention to detail and extremely artistic and creative. That is the only reason I kept trying to return. It had always been EXTREMELY difficult for me to get an appointment…like one option in two days or I would have to wait another three weeks for another option. Ok, fine. I always took the appointments they offered and didn’t think twice because they’re busy because they’re good. However whenever I went in there, I always felt…unwelcome. In a business. It always seemed all the women there were friends, of course the staff but also the other clients. And they talked about people. Like an entire conversation going on over my head with the majority of the other people in the room about other people they knew. It was awkward. Then they “closed” their books, and even though I had been there before, I was told I could not get an appointment there. The reason I’m writing this is because earlier today, there was a comment on their Instagram from a client who also had a bad experience and I commented that the salon was “cliquey” (owning up to my exact words). However instead of responding to my comment and experience in a professional manner, I realized the salon has blocked me from their page. So my comment on Instagram was just that, a comment.
