My personal experiences have been awesome. I’ve been with Kayla since 2015 and not once was I upset with my hair. She is an awesome stylist and I recommend her to everybody. I always post before and after pictures and everyone is always amazed by her work. She never lets me down! Even when my roots are so bad she doesn’t complain and gets my hair done the way I want it every time. My hair is never damaged and my color never goes dull. If I have never went in for a consult I would’ve never found anyone else who does better work. Im very grateful to have met a stylist like her. Her hard work and dedication to her clients never go unnoticed!

Sadly I was not impressed with my service that I got I called to see if they had availability for my daughters to get haircuts. They did so 10 minutes later I was there by the time we got to my 2nd daughter’s hair cut the young lady told me She didn’t know how to cut my daughter’s bangs….she hadn’t learned yet..?..? Okay thats when I realized I could have saved my $ and just done it myself.(Was she even licensed to cut hair, idk) Wouldn’t have been so bothered if Kayla would have offered to help the girl out and cut the bangs herself. Unfortunately she didn’t seem to be bothered about it and let me leave with half a haircut.

Love my hair cut and color. The ladies there were amazing and even stayed late to finish my color and cut since it took a long time for the coloring process to finish. I definitely recommend them and will be going back while still in Corpus.

Bad experience from the beginning! I made an appointment thru fb and the whole time I thought I was setting it up with “Kayla” I was unaware that others worked there and when making the appointment was never asked who I would like to schedule with (another reason I thought it was only Kayla) so I get to my appointment and the girl in the front says you had an appointment? I wasn’t on the books ..I said yes I scheduled with Kayla thru fb the girl says hold on comes back and says ok wait a minute a lady comes out and says you ready? So I follow her I go to the back and see a few women working on clients so I sit down and I show her the picture of what I want she says ok and starts doing my hair halfway thru I hear one lady tell another “Kayla come here” and I see a completely different lady approach her at that point I had just realized that the lady doing my hair wasn’t Kayla⁉ I asked the lady what’s your name? She replied “Daniela” what? So Kayla wasn’t the one messaging me n scheduled me thru fb? I didn’t know she had a receptionist and that’s who was messaging me the whole time….the receptionist never asked who did I want to schedule with which should be a question asked for a new client so I feel like I was thrown in last minute bc the girl upfront didn’t have me down for an appointment then my hair is done and it’s not at all what I wanted in the pic! It was horrible! The picture she took compared to the picture I took were 2 completely different pics! The lighting in her salon makes the hair look different/better in my opinion! Also she knew how to position my hair to make it look good :/ it was so bad I messaged to go back the next day bc I refused to go in public like that! They worked me in BUT she refused to fix it for little to no cost when the day before I had just spent money! She argued back and forth with me when I compared the 2 pics side by side and said that the other girls hair looked different bc of her length layers and thickness does any of that have to due with color? Smh then she said well I feel like that was a waste of time and work really?! What about a waste of the $180+ I spent just the day before? And she still charged me another $60 to the fix the mistakes that were made! Smh no customer service whatsoever! No apologies! Nothing! All I kept getting was it looks great, ppl liked it Snapchat ask other ppl etc what about my opinion and the opinion of the closest ones to me? I could care less of what ppl on Snapchat think of my hair it was a mess in person! The one thing that I will say I was satisfied with was the lady that did my hair the next day (Lorena) such a nice women she was apologetic, sympathetic, and so friendly! Now if anyone had customer service skills it’s her! Kayla and the receptionist can learn a few things from Lorena! Kayla wasn’t rude she just didn’t go the extra mile to make me want to be a returning client. To keep making excuses on why it looked the way it did instead of admitting it was done incorrectly just topped the whole experience off! If Lorena worked somewhere else I would definitely follow her somewhere else bc I will not return to Kayla’s.

Usually, I embrace the positive aspects of a business. Unfortunately, Kayla’s was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had. Customer service is dreadful & business is conducted in such an unprofessional manner. Will not be returning.
