I’ve been coming to Kayla nails for YEARS. Followed Paul the owner over from his previous us location in Willow glen. He just finished doing my nails for my wedding and he absolutely executed the vision. A classic French tip using nude powder to give my nail bed the illusion of being elongated. The tea. The professionalism. The cleanliness. The heated neck pillow. I mean it’s honestly worth every penny.

$48 ($43 mani + $5 extra to remove old polish) for a gel mani is much higher than other nail salons in the area, but they did do a nice job and had a nice selection of colors. I noticed they didn’t soak off my old gel but rather they blasted it off with the electric nail file, which is faster but tends to make my nails weak and thin. I prefer when they soak the gel off with acetone and gently scrape it. It’s a super clean place, too. And everyone was really nice. But there’s a lot of other salons in Los Gatos that charge less ($35-40) and removal of old polish is included in the base mani price.
