I had a highlight and rootcolor done on Oct 24th. I had a wonderful experience with the hairstylist who spent over 2 hours on my hair, but I made the mistake of not telling the stylist then and there that the root color was too dark around my face. I showed a picture and said that I wanted more highlight around the face than dark before the appointment. This was my second visit with this stylist and understand that she was just getting to know me. I paused and hesitated when the color around my face was revealed and the stylist said that area is where the foil was, so I didn’t say anything about it until I got home and thought that it was just too dark around my face and thought it needed more highlights. I called and spoke with someone in hospitality to see if I could get a few more highlights added around my face. I did not call to complain and I wasn’t even upset when I called. I also asked to speak with the stylist, but no one returned my call. Instead, I get an email from the business manager stating that since I had a previous highlight payed for, which I did not ask for then, nor did I ask for my money back or state that I was in anyway unhappy with my stylist that I should find another salon since they were unable to meet my expectations. I couldn’t believe how this was handled. I have been getting my hair highlighted for over 20 years and never had an experience like this. The big problem I see here is if a client has a question about her hair and service that should be between the client and stylist, not the hospitality team. The rest of my hair looked fantastic, it was just too dark around the face, an easy fix. I asked the business manager for the owners contact and she would not give that to me, another thing I thought was odd. I finally got an email address when I called back and emailed the owner and never heard back. Under Karma’s FAQ’s it states that they will be happy to work with you until you are satisfied. That should be removed; especially since it was my stylist only second time doing my hair. Unprofessional and unbelievable the way this was all handled.

Everyone was very friendly and I was greeted right away. I didn’t have a wait at all and I received the best pedicure I’ve ever had. Leanna did a phenomenal job! I had my first appointment at Karma today for a pedicure. I was very impressed by the cleanliness and atmosphere. Everyone was very friendly and I was greeted right away. I didn’t have a wait at all and I received the best pedicure I’ve ever had. Leanna did a phenomenal job! The whole experience was very relaxing, felt amazing, and my polish is perfection! Wish I lived closer to this Salon. It’s a surprisingly much needed treasure for Southern Pines. Super modern and classy. Kind and talented staff. & so many services offered. Very user friendly and easy online booking. I got a last minute haircut while in town and was incredibly surprised at how great of a haircut Bailey gave me. Would definitely go back if it was more convenient for me. Place also has full bar and offers fun and fresh cocktails!!

Made the mistake of coming here without a personal referral and had no idea of the pricing practices here. The price ranges are disclosed on the website, which I admit are high to begin with, however my service exceeded even the highest number on the range. Single color partial highlight and toner was $300. This is 2-3x what other comparable senior stylists/salons charge in this area for color. Absolutely shocked and so very upset that this wasn’t disclosed. I feel incredibly remorseful for having visited this salon.

I had an appointment today for color and love it. I loved my hair even more when i got a compliment on my hair an hour later. While shopping at the grocery store , a lady walking behind me told me that my hair is flawless. Great staff and talented team.

Brought my daughter here to get her first haircut at age 5. We wanted to donate her long hair to help “Wigs for Kids” foundation and the staff was so respectful of our wishes. The stylist even helped me get the hair ready for donation. Highly recommend this place. Everyone there is amazing!

Kayla gave me the best facial I’ve ever had and Tattiana(hope my spelling is correct) gave an excellent spa pedicure. Will definitely visit again!
