Heather is very professional and up to date on all current trends and new hair processes and products. She can suggest a style for you and understands your vision and makes it happen! Always love the way my hair looks afterwards! Her Salon is meticulously clean and offers privacy. She’s done my hair for job interviews, graduation from grad school, first dates and even my wedding day. I went from having severely damaged hair to healthy beautiful hair. Critical: ProfessionalismI was so disappointed with the lack of professional courtesy and customer service skills. As a potential new client who had been recommended by a past client, I went online and utilized the online booking system. Needing an appointment the following week for my daughter’s promotion ceremony, I was excited to see that she had availability on a Sunday! I booked the appointment, did some more research online, making sure it wasn’t mistake. After seeing her social media confirm that she would be working on that Sunday, I felt reassured and arrived to the appointment as scheduled. Upon our arrival, the shop was closed. I then immediately called to find out what had happened. I understand that sometimes technology is uncooperative and makes life more difficult than easier, but what was so disappointing and in my opinion extremely unprofessional was the response to the error. There was not one single apology, recognizing that a mix-up had occurred. She proceeded to repeatedly tell me that the appointment in which I had received TWO email confirmations for, could not have been scheduled. After having to indicate that there must have been some type of technological glitch, I ended the call and left my first engagement with the salon disappointed, feeling dismissed and treated unprofessionally. When a mistake, mix-up, or concern is brought forward and it impacts your business, no matter whose fault it is, PLEASE simply acknowledge the incident, do not dismiss the client, and if possible, attempt to find a way to rectify the situation.
