I usually go to the full day spas so I can spend a few hours unwinding and make a day of it. But I’m also very last minute and it’s hard to get an appointment. I decided to try a nail salon with a friend, and I was SO impressed by this place. It’s beautiful and relaxing and smells amazing, so I was instantly relaxed. The menu was very accommodating. I chose the middle pedicure package and I was blown away with some of the inclusions- a Himalayan salt hot stone massage, yes please! And great drink choices – there was a really cute tea bar as well as wine and mimosas. They had beautiful color selections did excellent work. The chairs were very impressive- very comfortable and clearly newer models, the leg massage feature on them was a really nice touch! I could easily have spent a few hours here doing all the mani and pedi services, it was so peaceful and comfortable! And we had the best time chatting to each other while our feet were looked after. I’ve tried several nail salons in Folsom and Kameo is hands down THE BEST! Thyla, the owner, is amazing and gives the best pedicures. Their products are very high quality and even their basic polish is Dazzle Dry. It’s very important to me to support local businesses who use high quality products. The spa is serene, relaxing and they definitely take their time during your appt. It’s quiet and they play relaxing music. This isn’t an “in and out” kind of place, so be prepared for a true spa like treatment. I opt for the basic pedicure ($60) which includes hot stones and they even offer you a bevy of choice (wine and bubbles included)! Thyla is extremely detail oriented and my pedis last for one month with no chips. So happy I found Thyla thanks to Google reviews. Friday, Saturdays and Sundays are crazy busy, so if you can go at an off time, I highly recommend it.
