Let’s talk about a warm welcome, I visited Kai’Mani’s salon about 2 weeks ago. I went to get my natural hair washed and deep conditioned then she was supposed to cornrow braid my hair into a updo. She started off my visit with an introduction asked about me then she introduced herself. Then she spoke about my hair and my edges and suggested other styles that she felt would be a better style to protect my edges. She was such a professional, yet made my time there extremely comfortable. She ended doing a large box braids hairstyle, she didn’t pull my hair, she kept me up to date as to what she was doing when she was doing it. She advised me as to how to take care of my hair, while wearing the braids. Tia, is indeed a God sent I have been looking for a hair salon that does everything and I have certainly found one. Her salon was clean, she had on her mask the entire time and so did I, I felt safe and comfortable. I love the service I received and she was very fast with the Braiding of my hair, she did my braids in less than 2 hours. Thank you Tia for loving what you do and for taking pride in it. I could tell you loved it and it showed in the end result.

Wow! My entire experience with Tia of Kai Mani Design was wonderful! I was there for either 4 or 5 hours and it felt like 1 or 2 hours. I’m in chronic pain so I was hesitant about going, but I needed a hairstyle with little maintenance. Tia suggested Soft dreads, she was right. I was so pleased with them that I had them in for 2 months. This is the first time I ever had anything other than a perm, color and wrap. I returned to have my dreads redone because of all the hair growth, my hair grew about 2 inches. I’m about to get it done again! Thank you Tia for an extremely positive experience, see ya soon!
