They are a small family run business. Friendly, clean, efficient. They do a great job on my nails. I’ve been to other local nail establishments and K&S has been the best. I moved to WC 7 years ago and I could never find anything that matched my favorite nail establishment in my old town. I settled at one nail place and was never truly satisfied. I stared to go to K&S a few weeks ago and I am more than satisfied… I am delighted!

I have been here at least 3 times before writing this review. All the times I have visited were walk-in and came at opening and have to say they are understaffed. They start off with pedicure which is usually ok. When it comes down to my Mani (fill in) the same person never finishes my nails. My nails look so ugly. The technicians are so busy only 3 people to take care of everyone it is not possible. The techniques are lacking and every time I have been there my nails look like a kid did them but the prices hit my pocket hard.

I arrived at 5:00 and they closed at 7. I requested a mani/pedi. I picked a color. Once I sat down the lady got right to work. But she was very rough and seemed to be rushing. I requested 3 to 5 minutes to soak. She walked away and came back around 1 minute later and again began to rush. I asked her if she was about to close she said no but continue to rush. She had someone else applying polish for me. Eventually they started my manicure. They were doing a better job than she. He told me to go wash my hands I come back and SHE was waiting to polish me. It was all too confusing and unnecessary. Using my own polish she began to put way too much polish on my top coat and got upset when I nicked my finger just slightly. Eventually I was told let me spray this on your nails and you can go but be very careful cuz they’re still wet. DUH! It was OK only 6:45. TWO hours later I tried to get my credit card out of my wallet and now my nails are all messed up. Nearly 12 hours later, I put on different shoes to catch a flight and now my toes are messed up . How are my nails not dry half a day later? Because they put too much polish all at once with no drying time. The only drying devices they had were fans. I saw No UV or other lights. I will return after my trip for a polish change and if they do not oblige I will not go there again and I will change my score to one star or zero Stars. If they redeem themselves I’ll add a star. But that was the worst. I’m on vacation for a wedding and will have to pay to get fixed here.

I don’t know why there are bad reviews honestly. Just went yesterday cause I wasn’t happy with my previous nail place. I will continue to go back, it’s a son, mom and grandma and they were all so nice and they did such a great job. My nails looked great and they were also gentle (the previous place I went to me nicked me constantly no matter who did my nails). I highly recommend you go here! He also said that our appointment is highly recommended because they are short-handed right now!

The old owner (Kim) from several years ago just bought this back about 2 months ago. She has done my nails for over 4 years and I even followed her to the salons she worked at between owning this one!
