If rude and surly is your thing, then this is the place for you. I have gone here a couple of times with unsatisfactory results from sloppy work, to lumpy finish, to chipping in days. If that isnt bad enough, the rudeness of the people running this place is off the charts. Save your time and money. Go to one of the hotel spas or hair salons.

This place should be shutdown. Reusing nail files and tools in unsealed and unrun autoclave bags (still red with adhesive strip in place). Older woman pretended to cut my cuticles back 3 passes.. I was grateful she didn’t because this place is how you get a transmissible disease. Peeled off gel and toenails on the floor. If I wasn’t on my way to vacation and desperate to replace where my previous gel pedicure was lifting up I would have walked out. I should have.. every minute I just kept seeing worse and worse signs of hygiene. Owner told me that autoclave bags are not sealed or run because they use new instruments each time.. well that is a blatant lie and health code violation. The file they used was worn on the edges with a white cast and the cuticle cutters that are metal they most certainly do not “throw away”.

These people suck. Called, was told to come in for a one nail quick fix then once we drive 30 minutes to get there were told “two hour” wait. Always rude. Find another place and make a reservation.

Best nail salon in the north country. Great prices, and fast work without sacrificing quality work. I’ve tried lots of nail salons between Lake Placid and Plattsburgh and K Nails does the most consistently great work. Ask for Bi (pronounced like “Be”) if you want designs on your nails.

Don’t go here. I asked for a manicure with my gels and he just kept saying yea yea and not looking at me once. He GOBBED on the gel polish so now i have thick nails that in 3 days r going to grow out with a deep crevasse at the cuticle and I’ll NEED to get them Done again by the end of the week instead of my usual 2 weeks. I also requested that my nails be dipped once before the gel painting and curing and 3 of my split nails be double dipped and he triple dipped half my nails that weren’t even broken and wouldn’t listen when I tried to talk. I’ve never had someone speed thru this process in such record time. And he was leaving debris on my nails and painting over it. Then at the finish pulled out the cuticle clippers and fake clipped them. Then said go wash. That was $45

They owners are great however Chantal is a very rude young woman. When I disagreed with how she wanted to remove gel polish she proceeded to tell me she has 6 years doing nails, I’ve been getting gel polish for twice that time and I understand what is damaging and what is not and I prefer to not have my nails damaged. Go here but avoid Chantal and you’ll get a lovely polish.

Great place to get a Manicure or pedicure done. Staff is so friendly. I don’t go often but when I do, Kay, B & Tamika are so welcoming when you walk in the door. Tamika did my manicure and did a wonderful job. Looking to treat yourself, this is the place to go.

As a gay man, I’ve been turned down from nail salons in the north country of New York but this place didn’t they let me sit right away!! I get my nails done here a lot, your first time going to anyone new you are always nervous. The first time I went I was wanting the “claws” she had no idea what I was talking about so I showed her photos and after that she did an amazing job! I will continue to go here. I actually have to make an appointment soon.
