Staff is very friendly and professional. Stations are very clean. They have a great variety of shellac and dip colors! Oh, my favorite part is how fast they do your nails and the prices!

JV Nails & Spa has really great service. All the nail artists here are super nice and always listen to any requests you have. When I went here, they even stayed past their store hours to get my nails done with care and precision. While other nail salons I’ve tried tend to not accommodate my asks, especially when asking to be seated next to who I’m with, these employees always do their best to listen to and accommodate their customers. Not to mention they are extremely talented with nail art and have really good pricing. I got dip nails with a design, which tend to be pretty pricey, and was extremely surprised that the end cost was way less than I had expected. Overall best nail salon I’ve been to. I recommend to anyone looking for an outstanding salon in the area.

JV Nails is my go to Nail Salon. I have weak, flimsy nails and I haven’t had a single issue with chipping or breaking since utilizing the services here! All of the Technicians are extremely talented, especially when it comes to nail art and design. I get so many compliments on my nails! And their pedicures are equally as amazing. Relaxing, comfortable chairs, and a large variety of treatments available, all with a reasonable price point. Definitely schedule an appointment rather than do walk-in, because they get quite busy!

I have gone to probably 10 nails salons in the north GR/Rockford area. This one is the best. They can get busy so make an appointment. I never usually ask for a specific tech and they always do a good job. Even when I ask for new and trendy designs I find on Pinterest, it seems like almost every single tech can nail it. I always leave super happy!

I’ve been to a couple nail places in the area and this one is my fav. They use a new package of cleaned nail instruments for each customer, which other nail places did not. Shout out to Hao for always making my nails look great Gel manicures

First time at JV Nails & Spa with Annie and she did an amazing job! Very thorough. They actually care about what your nails look like, they’re not just trying to get you in and out as quickly as possible (as is unfortunately the case with a lot of walk-in salons). She somehow also managed to do a proper dip but without making the nails too thick. Now that I see how well it’s done here, I actually realize how badly the place I went to before was doing it. Very nice and natural-looking. And she was so gentle, I easily could have taken a nap while there. I will definitely be coming back.

I’m not sure what happened to this place in the last 6 months. I used to come here all the time because the staff was knowledgeable and I really love the hot stone massages they offer for pedicures. After months of not being there because I had a baby I went back for the first time in a long time expecting the same great service and I was far from happy. I requested to get a pedicure and a dip manicure. Pedicure looked nice when it was done but the man working on my nails got up 4 times to tend to other business keeping me waiting. I understand it gets busy and someone has to take care of things but why not have a dedicated staff to do that? It’s not fair to me the technician/owner is interrupted because of business flow. Later, he worked on my dip manicure and not only did he shave down my natural nail alot, mind you I didn’t have anything on my nails it was all natural, but then he proceeded to dip my nails into jars I knew he was using for others. Very unsanitary. He didn’t pour powder into a different jar, he just used the original jar the powder came in. How many others had their fingers in it? I got a French manicure and it’s far from flawless. You can see debree and powder on the clear part of my nails. Nevertheless, it’s been exactly a week and my nail colors have chipped. I spent over $80 not including tip and my nail polish has chipped on both my toenails and fingernails. Such a waste. Don’t see myself going back and I highly recommend not going there only unless you want to spend money and see for yourself what happens.

Today was my first time here and I am very happy with my pedicure. The space was clean and the equipment was nice and worked well. My friend was also very happy with her acrylic polish mani. I had the basic pedicure for $28 with an additional $5 for the design and it was around a 45 minute service. The nail tech was thorough in caring for my nails. They do not allow you to add a tip on credit card sales so bring cash if you want to tip your tech.
