I was recommended by a coworker from work to try out this nail salon. im never coming here again. during my nail session after the powder set in she immediately went rough on the side of my nail with the nail file gashing it and making my finger bleed.at this point im concerned my finger might get infected so i cut the apt short I tell her to simply file down my nails, no color and she couldnt even do that right. I paid 35 dollars for half done janky nails. i have product at the sides and underneath my fingers i am severely dissapointed.

I have been coming here for around five years and I will not be returning after this last experience. Went in for a pedicure and I brought my own color, the ladies immediately started making fun of me and laughing about the fact I had my own color. I quickly realized when they were repeating things I said over and over again, immediately I wanted to leave. The lady was extremely rude and unprofessional. They used a dirty nail file on me even though the owner gave her a new one to use but she couldn’t be bothered to use the new one cause it was “too rough on her skin”, I’m sorry but when it comes to me getting a fungal infection from a nail file that was used on a previous customer or your hands I’m going to choose my well being. Not only that but she was extremely rough with me and kept pulling me around when she needed to move me. They played dumb when I asked them questions and ruined the surface of my nails by taking my previous normal polish off with a drill instead of acetone. This place has gone down hill in the last year, I used to regularly see Hannah who remembered every conversation we had ever had in the past and was great with customer service and extremely kind to everyone, plus her nail design work was amazing. I will not be returning, this place is disgusting and poorly managed.

Critical: ProfessionalismI started coming here around 2014. The staff turnover is insane. Every time I find a tech I like, they leave. I miss Hannah, Taylor, Rose, Nancy and Steven. There’s like three others that are no longer there that I wish I remembered their names but … well that should say a lot. The owner’s daughter has done my nails the last several times and she is a sweetheart but the shop is due for polish refresh and the owner chastised me last time I was there because I asked the tech to change something and that set him off. I average 20-26 visits a year with the full pedicure treatment and nails and will not go back after the last experience. My husband overheard the owner speaking crazy to me while I was talking to him on Bluetooth and he suggested I not give them any more of my money. It’s really tilting for me to write this because I have supported this shop for a long time and I do truly appreciate loyalty for small businesses but I refuse to be reprimanded by any owner for expressing something I don’t like. It took her less than 10 minutes to “fix” my issue so his unprofessional behavior was truly unnecessary. There are many updated shops in the area with seasoned nail techs. I have been to near every one within a 10-15 mile radius of here so I urge you to consider where you frequent because we all work hard to enjoy these luxuries but we all can choose who we choose to do business with too. I had over 75 pictures on Yelp from this nail spa and have since removed all of them because I will not recommend them after this last episode. Went here for the first time, Oct. 12th. It was great! First place I’ve gone too where they actually do your nails as asked. Even help with choosing the color and all. I will definitely go back and am super content with my nails. It’s a must go to salon!

First time here today thanks to our daughter in law. We both were so pleased. Kee Diane an AmazingJob on my Nails and my husband and my pedicures were amazing he was treated with a fruit pedicure with kim and loved it, Amy did mine and for sure be back in a few weeks before our beach trip. JV Nail Salon is the place for and pedicures, and the environment is always I get Treated like a Queen massage while having done ✔ and serves refreshments at no extra cost. They are like family now me and my sister walk in and they all remember us and greet us by name!!! We have the greatest time and have the whole place laughing in no time – 30 years of Nail salons ,but worth it
