Just Locs

Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, ValueWent for starter locs last week for what I thought it was a consultation but to my (pleasant) surprise she did them that day which was awesome. She’s a one woman operation and although there were 3 of us that she was servicing at the same time, there was never a lack of quality or attentiveness. In that same vein, I’m very happy with the way my starter twists came out, she’s been doing this for over 20 years and it shows through her work, knowledge and amazing attention to detail.Her space was was very clean and the vibes were perfect. She plays 80s/90s R&B which was a great mood setter. She loves her customers, even though it was my first time there, she treated me like I had been a customer of hers for 10 years. I’ve seen some negative reviews here that say she’s rude but from my experience I would say she’s very direct and transparent which I appreciated. I think some people were expecting a traditional salon experience and if that’s the case you may want to go elsewhere. It’s a very authentic experience that I personally enjoyed and will remember.Can’t wait to come back next month for my follow up appointment. Went for starter locs last week for what I thought it was a consultation but to my (pleasant) surprise she did them that day which was awesome. She’s a one woman operation and although there were 3 of us that she was servicing at the same time, there was never a lack of quality or attentiveness. I personally despise going to hair salons, but that was not the case here. The atmosphere is calming, she’s always playing great music, and she has a habit of getting people into interesting conversations.
