This place is GREAT, and Loretta is AWESOME! Took my son here for cystic acne, it was really, really bad. It hurt me to see how it was affecting him. Took him to Loretta and after 1 session it was getting better already. Took him to more follow up sessions and the large cyst is gone, looks amazing. I am still taking him here as needed for acne treatment and facials and his skin looks so much better. I can’t thank Loretta enough! And she has Sunday appointments!

I have been seeing Loretta for many years for extraction facials. Let me say as a fellow licensed esthetician I have never found anyone who does extractions like Loretta. In less than an hour she will get rid of every single blackhead or clogged pore on your face as well as the inside of your ears! If you’ve got really congested skin that nothing seems to help even going to other estheticians and getting regular facial treatments, you need to see Loretta. There’s nothing like it. You will leave with a whole new face!

I had a 5:30p appointment today and arrived 5:15p. I walked in and there was a person sitting under the dryer right at the front door, if looks could kill I’d’d be dead. So I proceeded to walk in and stood there waiting to be acknowledged and I waited and waited. There were two stylists working on clients and they were having full blown conversations but there is no way they did not see me walk in. I waited and waited and finally one of them in the far back said, “can I help you”. I proceeded to say nicely, “yes I have a 5:30 with Loretta”. She then said “oh she’s in the back, she’ll probably come get you”. Side note, the lady sitting under the dryer was staring at me like I was from another planet until I finally said “what the F— you looking at”. I waited another 10 mins before a different lady came out of a room and actually walked up to the front of the salon and said hello and asked had I been helped. I said “no not really”. I told her I had an appointment and she apologized more than once for the rudeness of the other stylists. Loretta came out and I went to the back for my appointment and she was very nice. Might I add this was a “white” salon and I’m African American. I’m sure they were thinking, “what this black woman doing in here”. Well my money spends just like yours. Very rude and unprofessional salon, at least the two white thangs working there. So sad! Oh and I was there for a “skin” procedure not for my hair.

I have been seeing Linda at JFY Salon for a year now and LOVE HER. She is not only a stylist, she’s an educator! Linda trains hair-stylists how to use the Italian Framesi-line and has been training others for over 15 years. I trust her completely and my hair is so much healthier now! People stop me to compliment me on my color, which is a unique red 🙂 She also cuts my boyfriend’s hair, her prices for men and women are excellent. She’s the best kept secret in the East Valley 🙂
