Critical: ProfessionalismI called to check availability for a one hour couple’s massage. I was told I could come in an hour for $60 per person. When we showed up we received rude service. I was then asked if I wanted a 30 minute massage, when I had already confirmed on the phone I wanted an hour. I was then lead to a separate room than my girlfriend, and told we could not actually have a couples massage, and that we would have to be in different rooms. After we accepted, another lady came in the room and rudely told me to pay. When I was at the register the lady told me she would charge me a $3 fee for using a card, and it would be an additional $3 per person, even though we were paying on the same card. I called to check availability for a one hour couple’s massage. I was told I could come in an hour for $60 per person. When we showed up we received rude service. I was then asked if I wanted a 30 minute massage, when I had already confirmed on the phone I wanted an hour. Critical: Communication, ProfessionalismI’m not one to complain about services because I understand the hardships that many businesses have faced during the time of COVID. But this was by far the WORST service I ever received at any business.Due to soreness from athletics, I decided to book a one hour appointment. When I arrived, they took me back to a room and told me to wait. The employee then asks for my money upfront, which I thought was a bit odd, but nonetheless I paid anyway.About five minutes into the massage, the masseuse ran out to take a phone call. Three minutes later she comes in, still on the phone, and proceeds to massage my back with one hand, while talking on the phone with the other hand. About 10 min later the phone rings again. She runs out to get the phone, and proceeds to talk on phone for five minutes. She then enters the room and resumes the massage with one hand, while talking on the phone with the other hand. About five minutes later, says that she won’t be able to give me the one hour appt as I booked. She says she needs to cut it to 45 min. She wraps up the massage about five min later and rushes me out. The massage was only about 30 min, and half of that time she spent it on the phone.I asked about receiving some of my money back, because I paid for a one hour massage. She hands me back $10 out of the $60 I prepaid.I was in disbelief when I walked back to my car. I couldn’t believe that I actually just paid for that service.In closing, I’m not the type of person to complain. In fact, this is the first review that I ever wrote. But I was so dissatisfied with my experience that I felt compelled to warn others.I’m not one to complain about services because I understand the hardships that many businesses have faced during the time of COVID.
