Johnnia, the owner, is caring, attentive, knowledgeable, professional, and passionate about her craft. I contacted Johnnia because I was unhappy with my sisterlock install by another salon. Not only did Johnnia squeeze me in between appointments for the consult, but she also agreed to do my retightening a few weeks later to help rectify my confirmed issues. When I left my retightening appt., I felt the way I should have after my initial install. Happy with my hair and excited about “my” locking process. Thank you, Johnnia!!

Been with Mrs.. Johnnia since 2015. She has been very nurturing with my locs and has kept my hair healthy over the years. She is extremely warm, caring, professional and accommodating with client needs. I’ve had washes, coloring and of course tightening on a routine schedule at this location. Mrs. Johnnia is all about educating consumers on healthy hair and lifestyle. The salon is always cozy and clean. Never had problems with overbooking. Your appointment time is YOUR time. She stays up to date with loc-related info. I consider myself to be very particular when it comes to self-care and would not continue where I’m receiving unacceptable services. If you are seeking this type of experience, Just Be Beautiful is the salon for you!

Wonderful salon! The hair stylists here are knowledgeable and make you feel comfortable and welcome. The head stylist, Johnnia started my locks for me and she did a wonderful job. She even suggested I try retwisting my own dreads to save money. That really shows that they care about helping the customer and not milking them for money, like most salons do. My only complaint is about the website. It is not up-to-date with current prices and style information. That is a problem because everyone refers to a website to research a salon before visiting it. Otherwise, this is a salon I will be returning to again and again.
