I am mortified by my haircut! Customer service was not welcoming but I gave it a chance. I explained what I wanted with pictures. After she cut my hair I was never asked if I liked the length or if I wanted more cut. I never got me my layers like I thought she did and my curtain bangs are embarrassing. They looked pretty good when still wet and styled but by the time I got home I realized they weren’t curtain bangs, there was no swoop to them. It all one length pushed to the side. Then to top it off my hair was uneven. It’s awful and I was charged $5 more dollars then the online price. I would not go here again.

Quick haircut and I got fit in right away. Service was great but the cut was just okay at best. I asked for a taper and I didn’t get one. I wasn’t lined up well (around my ear was accidentally trimmed up the side of my head a bit), and the side of my head wasn’t lined up. I might give them another shot and be much more specific about my expectations. I have an easy cut, 10-15 minutes tops, and I’m used to paying $20 with a tip and my expectations are met. I paid $32 with a tip and was very unimpressed paying more for less. I will update this post with hopefully a more positive review if I have a better cut next time, if there is one. I won’t specify the person who cut my hair, she was very nice and she fit me in between appointments which is why I’m posting a 3 star. I hope to update this to a 5 star next time.

Kathy is so Great! She has been doing my hair for years now and my son’s. I finally talked my partner into seeing her and she did a great job. He is willing to go back and this time it won’t take me 6 years to get him in to get a trim. Thanks Kathy you are the best!

Kathy listens to what you want. I have curly hair and difficult to find someone that listens “when cutting hair not too short!” She is good. I wondered when she started cutting my hair dry but am so happy with the outcome. Have been back a number times and always happy.

I asked for a graduated bob/A-line bob around spring 2017. The owner herself cut my hair and spent no time on it. It took ten minutes. Quality hairdressers who CARE take longer to give me a great style! She cut it way too short! There was also no angling at all. The front ends sat at my cheeks, instead of below my chin! I have pictures of this horrible haircut. It took me a whole year to grow out her mistakes. My hair has barely grown back to my collarbone now. It’s 2018. A year of growing out “Just A Trim.”

This is the only place I want to have my hair done anymore and since I moved to Renton I’m still willing to drive up here again for the great service. The staff here are well trained and listen to your requests. I’ve always been happy with my haircuts and bleach jobs. When I got my hair bleached last winter, they managed to get blues out of my hair without any damage. The staff here are pleasant and kind, the atmosphere is inviting, and my hair always looks fantastic when I leave this shop!

Saw that the owner was a nice person in the reviews. She lived up to her reputation. Just a pleasure to talk to, heyou can tell she has a kind heart, I showed her the hairstyle I wanted and she nailed it, and her prices were a steal. Tipped her and plan to go back for each new cut!
