If you would like to discuss your Beauty Budget and Hair Color Goals prior to scheduling an appointment, we happily offer free consultations. If a separate consultation is not convenient for you, your stylist will cover your Budget and Goals at the onset of your hair appointment. Specific price quotes for Color Services will not be given over the phone.

I went into Jungle Red initially to just get a bang cut, I met Liv, she cut my bangs and I was telling her about the challenges I have had with my hair over the years. I am almost 50 and my hair has changed. I have struggled to find a stylist in Dayton that can highlight and cut my hair to my high standard. I will be honest in saying that I was nervous to book color with Liv because she is so much younger than me, and I thought if other stylists who are older can’t get it right, how can she? But, we had a very thorough conversation about what she could do and I decided to book with her. I went back a few weeks later for the appointment. She spent a lot of time with me talking about the options, she involved their master colorist, and the 3 of us came up with a plan to shadow root, lightly for this visit to see how I liked it and how comfortable I would be with the change. Liv also did a Kerastase treatment on my hair that helps to eliminate frizz and she did a toner treatment. The Kerastase treatment was amazing (it lasts 6-10washes, so I purchased a Kerastase product to help lengthen that). I am so happy with the result that I cannot wait to do a heavier shadow root for the Fall/Winter. Liv has only cut my bangs, so I cannot speak to her cutting abilities, but I have a feeling she does a great job, as for the color, I am thrilled. The salon seems to be very professional, and the training they do there is something I have not heard from other salons in the area. I think it is very important to stay ahead of products and trends, as we are just in little ole Dayton, Ohio. So I appreciate that Jungle Red tries to stay ahead of the curve.

I have been seeing her for years, and every single time, I am left speechless with how beautifully she does my hair. Daisy genuinely listens to what I have to say, and I love to leave creative room for her, and she consistently goes above and beyond my expectations. Ashley B does a phenomenal job on my hair every time! She’s always very thorough in her questioning at the beginning to make sure she gives you exactly what you want! She truly cares about each and every one of her clients and I won’t trust anyone else with my hair! The salon itself is absolutely wonderful, they give you coffee or tea while you wait and the lobby area is always so beautifully decorated for the holidays. Your experience is worth the price you pay for sure. High quality service all around.

Stylist Meg Bishop updated my bob haircut for me recently. She did a great job with texturizing my very straight hair so it lays nicely and has some body. It can be difficult to find a stylist who really understands the challenges associated with straight hair and I was happy that Meg worked with my hair to achieve the look I wanted. I highly recommend stylist Meg Bishop at Jungle Red Salon.
