Been getting my hair done since forever, I love to try out new places just so I know where and who to recommend to my sisters & family members & also to promote on my highly viewed social media. I specifically asked for a root touch up or just slap some bleach on my roots ONLY ROOTS. & they failed to do so, I spoke to the owners herself about pricing (which she claimed to be only 60-70$ for ROOTS TOUCHED UP) and told her before I arrived and also in EMAIL that I’d only like my roots touched up to the blonde i already had. Instead, she picked a gray blondish color, and changed my WHOLE head color. The color is nice don’t get me wrong, but it’s definitely NOT what I asked for or expected. I was there for literally 6 hours, small space, and I expected a price of 60-95$ like I usually pay any where else I go, but she wanted to charge me 250$ but ended up paying 200$ With no consultation of pricing AT ALL from when I got there and when I left I’m completely disappointed that I had to reach into my college savings to pay for something I did not ask for at all. The owner kept saying “ you’re gonna get a lot of compliments the treatments we put are good for you” when compliments are the least of my worries & I could’ve been allergic to their treatment. Woke up next day with my head completely sore. I will not be going back into that shop. If I was not understood I would’ve been more than happy to explain, but when the color & treatments are already in my hair there’s nothing I could do along with their pricey treatments that I also did not ask for. They definitely need to work on their communication & clean their brushes, they were using the same brush on every head without cleaning it, very unsanitary. My hair felt So rough after I left, they literally only blew dry it and let me go, the flat iron did not even touch my hair. Friendly workers, but move slower than a snail. The previous reviews are reviews from personal friendships & their own employees so wouldn’t believe them.

For the last 6 years Juli, Yinet, & More have colored my hair various shades of pink & I have loved all of them! They’re extremely knowledgeable in color, treatments, & how to take care of your hair according to your specific texture. They’re also super friendly & caring & it definitely feels like family when you go in there, which you want when dealing with your hair. People stop me all the time asking me where I get my hair done because they have had previously bad experiences with color elsewhere & I never hesitate to give them Juli’s info. Even when the salon is packed they take their time to give your hair the attention it needs. Thank you ladies for always making me feel at home & taking such good care of me! Please be mindful….before you pay for your hair services, have them give you a run down of what you’re actually been charged for. They tend to overcharged people. I’ve been going there for years, I’ve noticed that on every visit, my bill is always different every time for the same biweekly service I go for( wash and set and color). I like the way they care for my hair but having to unexpectedly dig more into my wallet is a bummer. A detail price listing chart should be displayed to customers.

Sadly I have come back to adjust my review for this salon. My last visit was in December and I decided I would go get a trim here a few days ago. My past experience was great but this experience was subpar. Before coming in to the salon my hair was was 2 3/4 inches down the front of my shoulder. My trim was so short in the back that my hair will not even stay on a flex rod when being styled. I also have noticed the salon too has changed. Not as neat and posh as it was the months before when I first came. Very disappointed and sadden by the length of my hair. Unfortunately, because of this experience I will not return.
