I have been a client at Julie’s Hair Salon for over 8 years. I came to Julie when my hair was in bad shape. Julie revived my hair and going forward always gave me advice/tips, recommended and sold products to me to help maintain hair health. I refuse to go elsewhere. I was an emergency walk-in today because another salon I scheduled an appointment with couldn’t take me once I arrived. Julie let me come as a walk-in and Yvette did my hair. They took such wonderful care of my hair! I am a good hair type 4A natural with Brazillian knots already installed from another salon. Yvette, shampooed, conditioned, blowdried/flat ironed AND pinned my hair up for me when I left so I could sleep and maintain the style. Positive: QualitySo I had a last minute appointment on a Sunday afternoon. she took me with no issues. My hair is natural curly and a lil coarse. Child my hair looked like it had been straightened by the gods. Wash blowout flatiron & ends cut. Yvette is awesome. I will be returning

I am very sad to leave this review and upset. My first experience here was great. They straightened my hair and I was happy with the results and the lady was very personable and nice. I think it was Julie.The reason I am giving 1 star is because of my second experience. I went in 1 hour before closing and asked if it was still okay or of If I should come back. They said it was okay and that they would take me. I told them I wanted my hair washed, blow dried and straightened with the flat iron. I have natural hair. This time I dealt with another lady.They proceeded to take me and provide services as normal and had me sit under a warmer for 30 min. 1 week later, when I washed my hair at home, my hair was VERY different. It was the same as when I used to chemically relax it 3 years ago. And smelled like it! I realized what happened, and I was so upset! I had worked a long time to get my hair natural and they put chemicals in it without telling me or asking. I called and everything was denied. I feel very upset and all I can do is write this and warn you:

Place is amazing, def recommend this salon. The customer service is just unbelievably great ! These ladies treat each other like sisters and it make the environment fun !. I was nervous about visiting them because I am very picky about my hair but I gave it a try and it was amazing ! No regrets ! Each of them made me feel welcomed !
