Julie is a Seattle native who lived a nomadic lifestyle in her early years. Through her many adventures, while traveling the United States and the world, Julie has exposed herself to different outlooks, opinions, fashions, and cultures. She has graciously given back to the community by providing complimentary cuts to Seattle’s tent city residents and Capitol Hill homeless. Ultimately, she established herself where her roots run deep, had her son, and devoted herself to the craft of barbering. She considers her specialty to be the “business cut”. Julie’s loyal and supportive clientele have supported her every step of the way and she considers them family. *We Validate Parking!!!

I feel very lucky to have found Julie. How does one measure a good haircut? How about the reaction from your wife? My wife has always been very impressed with my haircuts from Julie. Julie always cuts my hair perfectly! I’ve had many different pixie cut styles and she’s always offered unique hairstyle suggestions to try. She does clean fades and detailed razor work efficiently and with a sweet attitude. She knows how to determine the perfect cut for my head shape while also taking my personal style into account.

Julie Olsen has been my Seattle hairdresser ever since I started getting my hair bleached blonde in the 90’s. Given that I live in Southern California, she does about half my cuts and bleaches. When I describe what I need, Olsen always hears me and does the work I’m looking for. Julie has never given me a cut that I wasn’t totally confident with and excited about. As a working actor and music professional, my hair being consistently solid between each cut & bleach is extremely important to my bottom line. Timing doesn’t always allow for me to work with Julie when my head of hair needs resetting, but I target my visits to the Northwest with the hope that she’s free to do the work. You cannot go wrong entrusting your head of hair to Julie Olsen.
