Ok so I’m still in the parking lot of this place and can fully attest that all the negative reviews of this place are bogus. I was treated nicely and like any Spanish establishment like family. My hair (which is in partial extensions) was washed and rolled. I sat under the dryer and then got my hair blow-dryer. The entire time, my real hair was complimented on (whoop whoop) and Juliana asked me if I liked it and stated that she would take care of my hair when And if came back. The conversation was casual. And I spent $50 normally $45 because of extensions and I was okay with that. My hair above all is flowing and clean. I will definitely be returning.

AMAZING EXPERIENCE! I was having such a bad string of days. I just wanted to get my hair done and this place sure did deliver. I was able to just walk in early on a Saturday morning. Wash, set, cut and style. I felt like I was hanging out with family. Everyone was nice and might hair felt so healthy when I left. I’d give 10 stars if I could!

I went in for a trim, and that was all I went in for, but she was very rude about my hair being kinky. She asked about me perming or flat ironing my hair and I told her that I do not like heat on my hair, so she said “you need to spend money to do your hair” I told her I do my hair myself and she told me my hair at my natural 4c kinky state wasn’t done. She became very rude making comments like “you Africans have ugly hair, and my fingers hurt, that’s why I’m charging you more.” Mind you, the general cut is $15, I was charged $18 and she drove me out her store and threaten to kill me if I don’t leave because I stood up to her. She was very very rude and didn’t even trim my hair properly. If you are African or African American with 4c hair, don’t go there. I will never ever go there again. I mean this woman made rude comments about my hair being dirty and I just washed and conditioned it before going into her salon. DO NOT GO IN THERE!!! I would rate her .000 if that was a choice. She took 3in out of my hair, it will grow back but her comments was very rude and uncalled for. STAY AWAY!!! She is very racist and rude.

A lot of these negative reviews come from disrespectful people who simply don’t want to pay for their service because in reality this is a good establishment. The owner is super nice and friendly and charges at a reasonable price. I have been going to this salon since I was a little girl and have always been treated kindly. The owner goes above and beyond for her customers in order to make sure they leave the salon looking nice. I know that a lot of these negative responses come from customers who don’t go to salons regularly and spend months and even years without straightening their hair, then expect to be charged $25 for all the hard work then beauticians do. With any service, you simply have to pay. So don’t go around saying all these negative comments because you didn’t want to pay for your service. This salon does a great job of making ones hair look healthy and grow.

She sent me out looking like a clown, my dye job was horrible for $120, after talking me into going lighter, I ended up with a bright brown color at the roots and the rest of my hair didn’t take, it was still black. I ended up getting a weave the next day, I had called to complain about my hair and she said to come back, when I got there she insisted I pay $65, I refused, she then tried to barter me down to $25, after words I decided to sue.

Haven’t been at the shop for years came back to town to visit and wanted my hair done, Bre did my hair and she did excellent i just wanted something simple for which i get all the time (A WRAP) I have to be honest i thought the worst because when new people do my hair they mess up then i have to restyle.I appreciate her for doing it right the first time when ever im in town i will be scheduling an appointment.Thanks so much Juliana when i left your shop i felt Beautiful Bre i will be back

I went to get a deep conditioner in my hair. Once they put it in, they sat me under the hair dryer for about 45mins. When they went to pull my hair down, my hair was in one huge knot. I had to cut off all my hair because their was no saving it!!! I found out that the owner allowed her daughter to do my hair (who was under-aged and not licensed) and instead of putting deep conditioner in my hair, she put glue in it!!!!!!!!! It was the worst experience of my life. Because of that horrible experience, I refuse to go to another salon again.

Owners real cheap and rude…went in to get a blowout first time came out all right..second time different stylist kept burning my scalp with the blow dryer and clearly did not know how to detanglel with thick curly hair cause she kept trying to use a fine tooth comb and start from the root instead of the bottom!(talking bout some beauty is pain! -_-!)Then when she was finally done the owner was suppose to trim my hair said next time ill do it and tried to still charge me full price for a trim and a blow out! This is by far the worst dominican salon by far dont go there if u have thick hair or hair at all! Def not worth the money!
