I just had my first experience at Julia James Salon with Londyn. This poor girl had her work cut out for her today with a botched color job that I received from the owner of another local salon. I’m talking red and copper color correction for what should have initially been a blonde on brunette balayage. The initial job was chunky with thick orange highlights, think Kelly Clarkson circa 2002. Not only was Londyn so sweet and personable, she is very skilled, professional, and efficient with her craft. She is fabulous and I’m so thankful she was able to work her magic on an otherwise disaster hair situation. Highly recommend!

Highly recommend Riley M. for bridal hair and Chelsey Z. for bridal makeup! Riley gave me a gorgeous updo that lasted all day despite the humidity. Chelsey does beautiful makeup, also lasted all day. I did not even have to reapply my lip color once. It made such a huge difference to have hair/makeup professionally done, it shows up so much better in photos. Thank you Julia James Salon!

Very disorganized. I went for hair color, and eyebrows but they didn’t write down the eyebrow part and my stylist didn’t do eyebrows so I just didn’t get it done.

Nice salon and never had a bad service. Just wish they had more flexible hours. They do not work weekends and only a half day on Friday. That makes it difficult scheduling around work. Haircut

I’m so glad I found Olivia! She’s super friendly and did a fantastic job on my hair. I’ve only ever had two cuts that I loved and she’s credited with one of them. She’s my go to stylist now! Julia James has a great atmosphere and wine! Huge bonus. So happy that I happened upon this salon.

I have been going to Danielle at Julia James for quite a while. I have a short hair cut and I get color and highlights. Danielle does a great job with my short cut. I really want it to look distinctive and current, not just another short haircut. She listens to me and does what I ask. I get lots of compliments and love the highlights. The salon atmosphere is comfortable and Athena, the dog is a great ambassador!

Her yelling and carrying on made all of the clients and staff extremely uncomfortable. The staff did an outstanding job trying to offer solutions but this woman refused to do anything but yell and scream and make a scene . So today, I want to highly recommend Julia James . Even in a difficult situation, the staff remained professional and offered many solutions. I started coming to Julia James specifically for Danielle. First, the salon is amazing-beautifully decorated and welcoming-the entire staff is friendly and warm. I like to write reviews because whenever I am looking to try a new business, I rely on the reviews to guide me. So, back to Danielle. When you sit at Danielle’s chair, she is focused on you. She doesn’t make you wait 30 minutes passed your appointment, she schedules her clients so that the person sitting in her chair gets the full attention and gets that attention on time. Being timely is not enough to win over someone, but adding talent to that should. Danielle is very good at her craft-she is up-to date on new techniques, whether that be cut, color, or extensions (you have to try these because the hair she uses is amazing as opposed to the extensions found at Sally’s that some salons use). She is always interested in your life, when you sit in her chair, she is genuinely listening and interested in who you are-she remembers stories, family members, and makes you feel at home. I want to address a previous review from “Temp User” and ask, are you insane? Your review of Danielle was not only unfair, it s untrue. It’s one thing to make a review to give people honest warning, but it seems to me that “Temp” user is a bit childish based on the bad grammar and ridiculous accusations. My advice, ignore “Temp User” and go see Danielle-you will not be disappointed.
