We typically bring our son to the Kings Room, when we went there today there was quite a wait so we decided to check out Judes. When we walked in, no one acknowledged us. We waited 10 mins, there was a stylist walking around aimlessly attempting to look busy. My husband finally got her attention to ask if they could cut our sons hair. She seemed really confused, almost like she wasn’t fully aware of her surroundings (we thought maybe she was on something?). She finally answered us and said it’d be a 15 min wait. We waited 25mins, in the meantime 2 other stylists had finished and again no one acknowledged we were sitting there waiting. These were quite honestly the slowest, oddest, group of stylists I have ever seen at a salon. There was no one else waiting when we arrived. We ended just walking out. We will never return, there’s a reason Kings Room is so busy. Hire. better. people.

I’ve been here a few times, with mixed results. Today was not a good experience. I had booked with a particular person, but went in to find out they didn’t honor that. She looked at the notes from my prior cuts, then asked me what I wanted. I told her I just wanted to get cleaned up, not looking to take much length off. She then attacked my head with the trimmers, and I walked out with a $30 buzzcut. That’s too much money to be spending on this kind of uncertainty, I’ll probably be taking my business elsewhere moving forward. Before and after shots included.

Well, was a couple doors down and needed a haircut and, although I usually go a bit north in Caledonia, thought I would give them a try. WOW, positively the WORST cut of my life.
