I didn’t want to leave a review since I know how much impact it can have on a small business. However, as a paying customer I felt compelled to leave an honest feedback/review after my experience with Jenny at JT HAIR LAB. I initially booked an appt on 9/21 for a haircut and color on 10/5 through her website. Like most appointments, I was expecting to pay a rsvp fee or provide cc info in case for no-show’s, late cancelation, etc upon reservation. However, I didn’t see the option so I wasn’t sure if the rsvp was successful. I don’t remember the order in which I’ve reached out but I’ve sent her an email, text and a message on IG to make sure the appt went through and if there was anything I had to do on my end. I even called but didn’t get a single reply back. And about a week later, I received an automated text to confirm that the rsvp has been accepted.

I first booked with Jenny in February after seeing so many great Yelp reviews, and I too can confirm that she is great! I had gone without a haircut for over a year and my hair had gotten extremely long, scraggly, and damaged at the ends. I was expecting her to need to cut off the majority of my hair to make it even remotely healthy looking again, but she was able to salvage my hair AND keep most of my length! Her suite is cute and in a nice/accessible area (Mattison Ave. Suites), and she is SO kind and easy to talk to. I had never found a stylist whose work and/or prices were ever worth returning to for a second visit, but I have already visited Jenny again for a trim and conditioning treatment. Overall, I HIGHLY recommend Jenny and will continue trusting her to maintain my hair and keep it beautiful!

Jenny has been cutting my hair for years. We followed her from Salon to Salon. She is the best! Everybody knows she does great cuts and color for the ladies; She does a great job on Men and boys too(both my sons go to Jenny)!

Jenny is awesome! She is friendly and knows how to cut hair the way I like it. She was even able to style my 3 year old’s hair and that is no easy task. Two thumbs up!

Clearly it’s easier to filter/hide reviews bc my original review is not posting. Read full review on yelp – Bottom line – Don’t go to Jenny if you want something specific. She will promise you things that she cannot do and won’t get the results you want. My hair was a total disaster (balayage and haircut) and I ended up going to another salon to fix her mess. Total waste of money. She also charged me more than the original quote for a base break without ever informing me beforehand (Didn’t realize til after). Word of advice – BE HONEST WITH YOUR CLIENTS if you don’t know how to do something. I understand you need business, but seriously? Don’t tarnish your reputation doing it.
