I have been going to Javier for almost 4 years and he is the best!! BEYOND THE BEST with HAIR! He is so passionate about hair that you can tell in his work! Great experience at JQ salon! The assistants were very friendly and attending to my needs during my appointment. They offered me coffee as well as keeping organic conversations with me as my hair processed. Javier, the main stylist, was enthusiastic and transformed my hair in the few hours I was there! Very modern salon and would recommend for every hair need you may be looking for.

Critical: ProfessionalismIf I could give a zero star I would. Today was suppose to be my first time at this salon. When I call to make an appointment 3 months ago I decided to wait cause it was highly recommended. I had an appointment at 10:30am, called at 10am cause I was coming from Roswell and running 10 mins late cause there was traffic. When I arrive to the location I noticed the door was closed maybe cause of COVID and when I looked into the the salon it was completely empty. This is very unprofessional and should have called his clients that were booked and waiting for several months to tell them they will no longer be open for business.If I could give a zero star I would. Expensive with a beauty school feel. An assistant did most of the work, and it turned out well; but it cost more than I expected to pay. Color and highlights (no trim) took three hours and cost $160.00. Maybe the extra was for the dye the assistant left on my skin…:-/ hope it wears off soon. I don’t plan to go back, but if you’re looking for a good color job and don’t mind higher-end pricing, I would trust the main guy there.

I just want start saying my experience at the actual salon was great. Javier was very nice. Some background on my hair; I cut all my hair off about 2 years ago bc it was so damaged and I wanted to have my curls back so I was on this natural hair journey. I don’t ever get blow outs on my hair. And if I do it’s every 6-7 months. I decided to get one last week bc my mom mentioned she had a new hair dresser (Javier). Went in with my hair washed already and had him do a blow out. It took him 40 minutes to blow out my long hair. (My hair is right above my butt) I was shocked but still happy that my hair looked great and he got the job done so fast. I did notice that while he was blow drying my hair he didn’t give my scalp a break to breathe. So the whole process was very hot and felt like my scalp was on fire but I found that normal bc in previous occasions I always went to the Dominicans and that’s how they do it. Went a few days with my hair straight so I finally decided to wash it. While I was washing my hair my hair smelled like it was on fire. It smelled horrible. I washed my hair 3 times and still the smell would not leave. I drenched my hair in conditioner and left it in my hair for 5 minutes. I went to untangle my hair with a brush and I kid you not my hair was literally falling off. I got so scared that Immediately jumped out the shower and made sure I didn’t have any bald spots. (It was so much hair falling off. I’ve never seen something like that) I then washed all the conditioner off and drenched my hair in Castor oil and leave in conditioner. I left that in my hair for a few days. Today I went to go wash my hair again.. and I have pieces of hair burned off. I’m so upset. It took me years to grow my hair. And now I have long hair with a whole bunch of burnt pieces of hair on my head. I can’t even do a ponytail without having a whole bunch of burnt pieces of hair sticking out. It looks like I have Mohawk that went wrong. I’m completely upset. I will NEVER go back.

SOny has been cutting my hair for about 6 months. Sadly, i believe she has shut sown her location in Dacula. She mentioned she would still be cutting hair in Hamilton Mill but i have yet to find her.
