Critical: ValueSecond poor experience at the nail salon. First gel nails chipped day one the last time i went there and this time Price gouging! $57 for a simple mani and pedi.. don’t mind paying and supporting local business but to charge random charge for a polish that is suppose to dry faster. How about you add a sign that states that. And all the polishes are together so would not have known when picking a color. Really misleading and at the very least a sincere apology would have been nice which is what I am really annoyed about. They just lost a customer. Second poor experience at the nail salon. First gel nails chipped day one the last time i went there and this time Price gouging! $57 for a simple mani and pedi.. don’t mind paying and supporting local business but to charge random charge for a polish that is suppose to dry faster. Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, QualityI’ve been going to New Montclair Nails and been happy but decided to give the owner, Joy’s new location in Roseland a try since it’s a little closer to me and amazingly there is parking in back so I don’t have to circle the block a bunch of times to find a spot in Montclair. The place is stunning! So gorgeous, and modern and posh. Totally thrilled to go there. I got a fantastic much needed pedicure and then Rachel did my nails and she was amazing!!! She did the most adorable rhinestone designs that just make you smile looking at them. Will be going back again and again and again. I’ve been going to New Montclair Nails and been happy but decided to give the owner, Joy’s new location in Roseland a try since it’s a little closer to me and amazingly there is parking in back so I don’t have to circle the block a bunch of times to find a spot in Montclair. Positive: Cleanliness, QualityWent in yesterday evening for a pedicure and the place is really nice! They have put up plastic barriers and shades for Covid and the entire place was very clean. Ana did a great job on my pedicure- i will be back!

When I learned that Joy had opened up a salon closer to me, I was excited to check it out. The salon is lovely and the service is very good. Joy, you and your salons are GEMS!
