I have had some decent massages at different places around town; however, trying to get an appointment in a timely manner is usually impossible especially when you’re hurting it seems. Joy had appointment openings and I didn’t have to wait long at all. She is very professional and extremely skilled. She is also very comfortable to be around and listens to you in order to meet your needs. I had never had a hot stone massage before and it was quite awesome to say the least! She applied as much pressure as I needed and fixed me up quite well. Joy is gifted with amazing healing hands and incredible soothing skills with the use of hot stones! From here on out she will be my regular massage therapist. Can’t wait till next time!

I had never had a professional massage before and all the massages I’ve had in the past were awkward and just didn’t feel good at all. Having heard of great reviews from my friends and family, I gave this a shot and wow was I not disappointed. She took her time, was thorough, took the time to know me and my body and what I was going through and it was one of the best things I could do for myself and my body. 10/10 couldn’t recommend more. Heaven on earth!!! I received one of the best massages of my entire life from Joy! She is wonderful! Relaxing atmosphere, she gives your body & mind the attention and rejuvenation it needs! Her massages are so relaxing and blissful they take you to another world! I do a good deal of physical activity (tennis, skiing, hiking, etc.) and Joy knows how to put the body back in balance. I highly recommend Joy, she provides excellent massage therapy!

I chose Joy’s Hot Stone massage because of the testimonials on her website. Every person who wrote about her expressed such confidence in her abilities that I just had to try her out! Well, they were right! She is personable, professional, talks when you want, and doesn’t when you don’t, as firm or gentle to the touch as you need her to be, and just a lovely young woman with incredibly firm hands. Joy has a way of having her clients feel comfortable and safe. From my experiences, not many people are focusing on hot stone techniques in Santa Fe. I like the stones because they loosen my muscles and I feel a lasting affect for days. She thought of many other specific techniques that could help penitente and aliviate the source of pain. She discussed them with me, and based on my reactions and my desired focus, she developed an experience that did help me. Remember in Santa Fe, there are many massage therapists. This was hands down the best massage I’ve ever had. Besides the cbd lotion and hot stones-which do add a magnificent piece- Joy is so intuitive.
