I took my daughter in law here for her Christmas present. We both got mani/pedís. The lady is very nice but my daughter in laws nails peeled off the next day. I visited Joyful Nail Spa to get a manicure and pedicure, and I was taken in by a woman who claimed to be the owner of the establishment. We began with the pedicure, which she had done so in a rushed and careless manner. As for the manicure, she barely cut any cuticles and did not file my nails. I had requested a french tip for both, toes and fingers. She did not ask me what color I wanted, and when I brought that to her attention and chose my desired color, she it painted over the coats she had already made. I asked her to take the previous coats off first, as the several polish coats looked lumpy and unprofessional. After she did so, she began painting again, and the french tip she painted was approximately half the nail length. I told her it was too thick, so she used polish remover to shorten it, taking off all of the polish base underneath. She proceeded without fixing it. I ended up asking her to just take it all off and to not paint my nails. To add insult to injury, she spent the appointment trying to set me up with her son, even though I informed her I am not single. Additionally, she tried selling me a certain oil she believes in to help with headaches or other bodily aches. Obviously, this is highly unprofessional and I was extremely disappointed to experience this from what seemed like a friendly place to get my nails done. As if this wasn’t enough, I was forced to pay a total of 40 dollars for the services she had provided me, despite all of her work being rushed, done without care to any detail or skill, incompetently, and inconsiderately.
