I highly recommend Joyce, (Joyce Hair Braiding Bolingbrook) to anyone who wants a talented hair braiding professional who takes her work seriously and makes client satisfaction her #1 priority. I was trying all summer to find a braider to correctly double twist my hair using the baby curl human hair I bought in NYC. I tried 3 braiders. Then my sister suggested I call her braider Joyce. Although she’s an hour away, it was well worth the drive. Prior to my appointment, I texted her pix of the hair and style I wanted. She assured me she could do it, and baby did she. Joyce is very sweet and professional. My previous braider left the salon I go to and I needed a last minute appointment. Joyce was very accommodating and got me in quick. She even offered to call, if she had any cancelations, to get me in sooner. She prayed over me before starting and consistently checked in with me to be sure I was comfortable. She was very gentle when she needed me to turn my head (she put on a couple nollywood movies and I got a bit distracted lol). Overall, an amazing experience and I’ll definitely be back.
