This is not my favorite salon but I have gone here a couple times because it is convenient and close to my work. My last experience here I had an appointment at 2:30PM and I did not get taken back until 3 PM. Today I made an appointment for 9:30 AM, which is the earliest appointment since they open at 9:30 AM since I wanted to ensure I was taken on time because I work at 11 AM. I get there at 9:30am and my nail tech isn’t even there. No one greeted me until I had already been sitting in the lobby for 5 minutes and another nail tech said “she should be here soon.” I let her know I was hoping to be taken right on time since I have to go to work after this and she offered me no apology just told me that I could reschedule. I waited around for 10 more minutes but then I had to leave because she still wasn’t there and I knew that she wouldn’t be able to complete my nails in time for my work shift. Completely unprofessional as I made this appointment a week in advance.

This place is like a dive bar. Don’t go in with high expectations and you’ll be happy. I had a dip manicure and wasn’t at all surprised the station hadn’t been cleaned after the previous customer. There’s also a pretty good chance the tools weren’t properly cleaned + sterilized. Instead of applying the dip powder from a separate, disposable container, my fingers were dipped right into the general powder container. Again, not surprising. It was actually pretty impressive when the nail tech dropped the top coat brush on the floor and then continued using it. I’m honestly not complaining and the nail tech wanted to make sure I understood he would fix and address any issue I might have. However, I think the issues I would raise are systemic and I’m glad I’m up to date on my tetanus shot. I’ve got nothing against dive bars, I just make sure to order a draft and whatever is on special.

I was looking for best nail salon in Rochester area, and this salon caught my eye because of its good reviews. My experience was though not so great! The staff was nice but their service was not upto par! They just tried to finish it off quickly and the guy dint dip good amount of powder in nails, all nails look different!! Definitely not coming back.

I don’t usually write reviews but had to come on here to say how gross of an experience this was. The whole place is extremely dirty and unkept. No one is wiping down the counters, the sinks, the floors. I was even concerned the person doing my nails had not washed their hands. I’m not usually a germ-a-phone but this crosses the line. The shelves were an absolute mess. Just no care for the facility. Shocked and disappointed. Never coming back!

Maysa was great but overall this place needs a makeover. The Pedi chairs and nail dryers look like throwbacks from the 70s. The whole salon just seems cluttered. Tools were sanitized and I feel I received a decent mani Pedi so I would go back.

the only reason i am giving two stars and not just one or zero is because i do appreciate being able to make a same day appointment. however, the place is not clean (ew) and the prices are out of line for the quality and type of service I received imho. the other place i go to charges $17 less for the same mani/pedi gel basic service and they are clean and technically skilled – no wonder they are booked out in advance unlike this place. =(
