Critical: CommunicationI made an appointment via text for a one hour RELAXATION massage. I went in and was told I had NO appointment. I was given a one hour massage condensed into 30 minutes which was agreed upon. However, I had to ask multiple times for the lady to take it easy on me as I was receiving a deep tissue massage which wasn’t what I had asked for. I made an appointment via text for a one hour RELAXATION massage. I went in and was told I had NO appointment. I was given a one hour massage condensed into 30 minutes which was agreed upon. However, I had to ask multiple times for the lady to take it easy on me as I was receiving a deep tissue massage which wasn’t what I had asked for. As a result, I’ve barely been able to move going on two days now.

Positive: Professionalism, QualityWe came to Destin for a girls weekend. We read a few reviews on places. We decided to go with Joy Spa. There is not one complaint. I have had several massages over the year and this by far the BEST!!!!!! Massage I have ever experienced. I had a few places I wanted to let them know that needed work, but I never even had to tell them. They worked on places that needed extra work. We came to Destin for a girls weekend. We read a few reviews on places. We decided to go with Joy Spa. There is not one complaint. I have had several massages over the year and this by far the BEST!!!!!! Massage I have ever experienced. I had a few places I wanted to let them know that needed work, but I never even had to tell them. They worked on places that needed extra work. I can’t say enough about this place!!!!!!

Positive: Communication, Professionalism, QualityWe found this place while on vacation and was everything we hoped for. We walked in on a Friday afternoon and we were seen right away. Eva was wonderful. She constantly checked on me for pressure tolerance and if I was okay. This place gives you a full 60 minutes not like the chain parlors that take out time for dressing and consultation. We found this place while on vacation and was everything we hoped for. We walked in on a Friday afternoon and we were seen right away. Eva was wonderful. She constantly checked on me for pressure tolerance and if I was okay. This place gives you a full 60 minutes not like the chain parlors that take out time for dressing and consultation. We will definitely be back.

My body is extremely arthritic and has been broken up with metal in both my upper and lower spine, a knee replacement and too many other things to mention from my athletics. Both Of these young ladies worked on me for 2 hours. I’m 6’6, 300lbs – old, fat and sore all the time. I can only assume the other young lady jumped in to help when Wendy Whom started could feel all the bone spurs, trigger points, Etc.And ask her to jump in. This event was unbelievable. I’m on vacation and will be going back for another massage before I leave Destin. I’ve been lucky enough to have massages many places including world class resorts and this was as good or better than any I can remember.This was a First Class Massage with beautiful people mind and soul; to take care of you!I’m what’s left of an athlete from many years ago. My body is extremely arthritic and has been broken up with metal in both my upper and lower spine, a knee replacement and too many other things to mention from my athletics.
