This was my first time using Joy Hair braiding services and I must say, I’m very impressed. Her work is immaculate!! ✨ she was very patient and kind. She made sure not to pick at my baby hairs/edges which are very fragile from my post partum shedding. You can’t tell there’s any bald spots as she covered it nicely! I’m very happy and pleased with her attention to details. I’m already getting so many compliments on my hair; she did an outstanding job on my hair.

Honestly I arrived about 10-15 min late but I reached out and she was still ok to see me. The work she does is good and neat. I see why she has such good reviews. She’s not rude like I saw in a previous review but could work on professionalism. My only issue with my service is the fact that she braided my hair and midway through said she had to charge me 20 more because SHE mistakenly braided it too long. Honestly I can pay same price for less of my brain being braided and longer length but I just had my baby and needed it done. If I wasn’t in a hurry and had other things on my mind I would have argued but what’s done is done. The braids are too tight and not good for me but I’m not used to getting my hair done and I don’t know what to do about it.

Have gone there three times and each time I had a pleasant experience. I get my hair done every two weeks and have not been disappointed. Vivian is pleasant and knows her craft. I also had aesthetic who was very pleasant as well. Never had a problem getting an appointment and the service was fast. I will be going back. Love my crochet braids.

Vivian was great to do business with. She was on time for our appointment. She called me to make sure I was good getting to her shop. She was very pleasant. We talked about the hairstyle I wanted and she explained that it wasn’t feasible bcuz of the condition of my hair so we devised a plan and she executed a beautiful result. I was comfortable. We watched movies. No rush rush rush. No long pauses. Jus enuf for her to sip on soup for nourishment. I would definitely recommend Vivian and I would definitely use her services again.

I went to this location for the first time. I was very pleased with my braids and have gotten dozens of compliments on my hair. It’s been almost two weeks since my hair was braided and my braids still look beautiful. I texted a picture prior to my appointment of the style I wanted and my style was done exactly like the picture and was not braided too tight. I will definitely return.

Service was great I’m not all that happy with the prices and the fact that my hair style only lasted me a a week Iand I got the bohemian twist granted the curls but the whole twist is unexceptable. 240 I paid all toghter for this style for birthday and it come out on my bday I got it done last Sat took about10 hrs which is crazy 9 to 7 at night and I dnt think it was worth it but alot of compliments tho
