I purchased a couples massage through Groupon, and was directed to their online portal to set up an appointment. The earliest appointment opening was 6 months ahead!! Nonetheless, I booked it and moved on. The night before the massages, at 11PM, I get an iMessage from the Journey Body Studio letting me know they don’t have the adequate amount of staff and they cancelled the appointment. They assured me they will contact me soon to reschedule. They never contacted me back, have been ignoring my calls/emails/texts, and as I am reading other reviews, I am not the only person this happened to. My guess is that they are cancelling the Groupon customers in order to book customers that don’t have the coupon for a discounted massage. Very, very disappointing and I will be warning everyone I know to not go here. As for their service, I’m sure their massages are great – what massage isn’t!? But how they run things…it’s a scam. Groupon was extremely understanding and awesome, and gave me a refund (though I would rather have the massage than my money back). I wish I could give this place zero stars.

I purchased Three 60-Minute Reflexology Sessions for what I thought was a good price. I used it once and wasn’t that good. Tried to get another apt made and couldn’t get in for 4 months! So I never went back. Chalked it up to learning a lesson. Sometimes it is to good to be true. It’s a one woman show. No one to work the front desk or take phone calls. Doors were locked and couldn’t get in at the scheduled time. Then someone shows up as I was ready to leave. It’s just really weird!

I had a massage scheduled, first it took 2 weeks before he responded to my emails and calls them he’d schedule a day just to tell me he booked the spot with someone else (I planned it 2 months in advance because my daughter was getting married) I got a call 5 days before my massage telling me it was cancelled, no reason why, just cancelled and if Ihad any questions to call, when I called 4 to 5 different times and emailed ididn’t get aresponse, I’ve yet to get a response. This is poor customer service.

I received a gift certificate from a friend to come here with my mother. I have been trying to set up an appointment for 6 months straight and every time I go online to schedule it it’s “booked”. Either they only have 1 person working or they need to fix the website. It’s ridiculous. My gift certificate has expired now, so I couldn’t even use it.
