I really like how careful the tech was with my nails. She fixed the shape from a previous place and made them look more natural. Even when my nails didn’t turn out great because they were file differently and look mishaped I will still come again but this time I will come with plenty of time so I won’t have to rush the tech. Prices are fair and they do take walk-ins if they’re not too busy.

I really wanted to like this place because it is a lot cheaper than the place I usually go to, but the service was simply sub-par. The interior was aesthetically unappealing and was in obvious need of some cosmetic work; it also smelled very strongly of chemicals. I went in today for acrylic nails and gel polish on my fingernails. The woman who did my nails (the oldest lady there, so I assumed most experienced) was unfriendly and gruff, even though I told her it was my first time there and was interested in finding a new salon. She was very rough with my hands! She cut me twice with her electric file and she literally gave my hand a little slap each time she wanted me to switch which hand was under the light. She did not have the color I had chosen from their options, but we found an other which was fine. The most irritating thing is that she refused to give me a rounded-square tip. She kept showing me on a nail remnant what my options were: SUPER square (almost duck-bill shape) or SUPER round. I showed her a picture of a squoval nail and she said “okay, round.” The finished product was indeed round, but did not even follow the lines of my natural nail. It is difficult to see in my pictures, but if you want to see their other work, they have an Instagram @josephinenails909 where you can see how crooked they make the nails. For my service I paid $30, and $3 for a tip, so $33 total. I feel bad giving them a less-than positive review, because they are obviously a family-run business, but I feel like it is an honest review, and they may be okay for some.

My hidden gem Great service, wonderful prices, so cool to have a nail lady right in my downtown area that I can afford. I get acrylics with gel and they never chip, but if I accidentally break a nail, repairing is only $5. I recommend!

I had a great visit! The employees were polite, the prices were fair and comparable to other places in the area. They were able to see me as a walk in. Tip: parking can be a bit tricky.

Always does a great job! I recommend having one of the ladies do your full set and one of the young men do your pedicure, everyone does a decent fill or manicure! It’s a wonderful family business and I feel good giving them my money!
