My hair stylist name was “Rose”. She took her time and decided the color, highlight, cut and style I was going for. She listened closely to what I had to say and made sure the cut was something I could manage at home. She worked tirelessly and when my hair was finished, I looked and felt beautiful. My first experience with J&F was positive. My stylist was Faye, she took the time to understand what I was trying to achieve with my hair. We agreed after she trimmed my hair that I was trying to grow out would take another 6 to 8 weeks until she could achieve the look. Fast forward to my next appt. I made a mistake in booking my appt online and booked Fatemeh instead of Faye, but kept the appt because I was at the 8 week mark and my hair was getting very long, it took me 6 to 8 months to grow it out. She was a “Master” stylist so I thought I was in good hands. She was very personable and talked alot…I showed her the picture of what I wanted and asked her if she had experience with this type of cut. She assured me she did. I was concerned when Fatemeh made no effort to section off my hair and layer, she simply was taking a section of hair in her comb and cutting into it, I was worried but said nothing as she was the expert. I asked her to also put black highlights in my hair. Once all was said and done and I got home, I just cried …the highlights came out great and I loved them, but my hair was chopped full of holes and both sides of my head, my hair was cut differently…. I let a week or so go by to see if it was just me and then decided to reschedule and get my hair fixed with Faye. That was 2 weeks later I walked in and Faye gasped and thought that I just needed a trim….she took 2 hours to even out my hair and had to take off almost all of my new growth to give me a pixie cut that at least got rid of the holes and gave me a style. I was very upset and called corporate as I wanted a refund on my highlights as they were all chopped off with my pixie cut. I spoke with Abby at Corporate and she told me that someone would call me back…that was over a week ago and nobody has called me. I sent in a request for a refund via email over a week ago, no reply…. SILENCE….. This salon took away from me 8 months of time to grow my hair out to achieve a look and not one person there had the common decency to call me back…very sad and reflects on their ability to handle criticism….I paid over $200 for an EXPERT haircut and color and got worse than a Great Clips $15 job… Extremely disappointed and feel victimized…….
